not returning my security deposit.

I stayed at this hotel several times over a few nights and generally had a good experience. The staff were friendly, and the check-in process was smooth. The rooms were clean and comfortable. However, I faced an ongoing issue with my security deposit not being refunded. A deposit was taken each time I booked, but despite multiple attempts to contact the hotel directly, I received no response. I also reached out to Hotels.com, who contacted the hotel by phone and email, but unfortunately, there has been no follow-up from the hotel to resolve the issue. Be careful about the security deposit if you are about to book this hotel. The rest is fine.

The property itself was not bad at all but I was expecting a little more razzle dazzle for the price. I appreciated the security features on the elevator where you can only access the floor your assigned and the fact that your room key operates the power to the room. I thought that was a pretty neat feature. Outside of that, I struggled to see where "luxury meets tranquility". I have stayed in some really nice places before and this was not it. Maybe things will get better once the hotel is "fully operational" like the gym was still being put together also the bedding needs to be changed and upgraded. The ones we had were stained. (I travel with my own disposable sheets and pillow cases) The hotel did provide cute little slippers minus the robe that was advertised but that was cool. The bathroom toilet area is very small but it worked and was clean. Overall it was a decent experience. Would I stay here again? Maybe

**DO NOT STAY HERE** Ly Hotel in Queens, New York, was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The pictures and reviews on their website are completely fake—don’t believe them. The room was dirty, the sheets were filthy, and the walls were covered in scuffs. There was no body wash provided, and the shower floor was rusted. When we asked for the sheets to be changed, a staff member came up but completely ignored us—even when we said thank you and tried to ask questions. The next day, the sink stopped draining for no apparent reason. We called the front desk and spoke to Hassan. He came up, didn’t say a word to me or my daughter, fixed something, and left without explaining anything. To make matters worse, they never answer their phone, no matter what time of day you call. The service is nonexistent, and the entire experience felt like a scam. Avoid this place at all costs. The reviews and photos they advertise are total lies, and the reality is far worse. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere.
