The check-in was difficult. The front desk employee couldn’t find my reservation and requested payment and additional fees. I showed her my VRBO reservation and payment. She requested a credit card in order to check in. Finally, she provided me with a code to enter the room but not a virtual key. The second night at 1:30 am another guest opened the door to the room with a virtual key because, according to the front desk, I was never checked in, and the room showed available in their system. The host/manager never reached out to me, even though I left messages from my first night for them to contact me. The host/manager was never available, “just stepped out”. When checking out, the front desk person refused to tell the charges to my credit card and to give me a printout of the bill. I asked what they charged to my credit card. Her response was, “It will be emailed to you.”
