Perfect!

Beautiful hotel, excellent location, friendly staff! What a nice surprise it was to visit during a film festival and watch a movie premiere at the hotel’s cinema. Can’t wait to visit again!

Men and women are treated very differently here. Single men get bigger tables in the dining areas, and quicker service from the staff. Also, check the square footage of your room before you book it. The room names are deceptive. But the worst part is the very loud band that plays from 5 PM to 12 AM. And they are located at the bottom of an open space that rises up the center of the hotel, so you are blasted with their performance regardless of your location. The staff do their jobs, but they do not seem happy.

Overall this hotel wasn’t worth the price. The staff were incredibly rude and you don’t expect run down rooms like the shower water taking 10 minutes to warm up. Overall a lot left to be desired. If you don’t care about room quality of being spoken to rudely by staff, the bar is really fun spot with great atmosphere.

I found myself needing to travel last minute to NYC. After reading reviews online I opted to make a reservation at The Roxy. My check in experience was fast, I stayed in a room with a king size bed. My room was spacious, clean and well appointed with travel amenities. The location was perfect, if you like music check out the bar downstairs This was a quintessential NYC experience.
