Nolita express

During all interactions I had with the staff everyone was super welcoming and respectful. The building itself had a cool atmosphere and the room I stayed in was clean. Although You can hear pretty much everything going on around you as there is no roof to your individual room, most people were respectful and kept noise down

This is a hostel first of all. It wasn’t very clear when i booked. This is a place where you go to literally have a clean bed to place your head. I wouldn’t go back because hostels are not my thing. It’s a bit creepy and dark looking but i never felt unsafe. Not a huge fan of co-ed spaces like this but thats a personal preference.

My stay was so terrible that I could not stay the second night of my booking. It was dirty, noisy, smelly, and the plug didn't work so I couldn't charge my phone. I informed them of my terrible experience from the first night and said it was so bad I couldn't stay a second night and kindly asked them to only charge for the one night I actually stayed at the property. They refused and said it is their policy that I had to pay for both nights because I had originally booked a 2 night stay. I had to find a new hotel for the second night and wasted money and time but there is no way I could stay a second night at this horrible hostel.

The weekend girlies followed the quiet time hours better than the weeksay girlies. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. I stayed in a double bed room with a window. I’d stay in a similar room again.

I only stayed one night from Tuesday May 13 to Wed May 14, 2025 because I felt unsafe & was sent a dishonest text & Email. So I had to check out on Wed 5/14/25 early morning as I felt unsafe. This hostel practices dishonest policies & was very disrespectful to me.

sadly i'm 6 ft 6 inches tall and i don't fit in their rooms. anyone over 6ft tall should think twice before booking. otherwise it's a great affordable place to stay in lower manhattan. they should mention this when booking because i had terrible night sleeps because the beds were barely 6ft long. not idea for tall people like me. just letting others know so they dont' have bad sleeps like I did. great place otherwise.
