Our stay at The Pearl NY was just right. We came into the city for one overnight so we could have a nice dinner, see a Broadway show and head back to NJ in the morning after breakfast. There was one little hiccup when we signed in. I guess we missed that we had to have a photo i.d. to stay there. I had left my driver's license at home and my husband's wasn't good enough to carry us both. I lucked out by finding a picture of my passport on my phone. The staff behind the front desk was more than pleasant, efficient and helpful. Only complaint in the room for me was that the pillows were too firm. My husband wished he could have upped the heat as there was no extra blanket. He couldn't adjust the thermostat . We ended up being fine. Nice hotel, great location and excellent restaurant attached where you get 10% off if you are staying at the hotel.
