I was pleasantly surprised by this 2 star hotel. I had only stayed at 3 and above. For a hotel room at this price point, I thought it was a great find. It’s down by the World Trade Center which is nice if you want to explore that part of New York, but it’s a bit out of the way for mid- and uptown. BUT there’s a subway station right in front of the hotel. Plus there’s a really nice 24-hour deli right next door. The staff was super friendly. I used to always stay at the New Yorker, but this may be my new place to stay for my random trips to NYC.

Needed an affordable hotel near the conference and discovered this one. It's right next to the Courtyard Marriott and less than 60 steps to the WTC. Quiet by NYC standards and the staff made sure to take care of you and also give you privacy. I will be staying here again.

Its a 1.5 star Hotel. Everything is cheap , from lighting to walls to beds. Positive aspects: spacious rooms, rooms are clean. If this was the cheapest option I would understand, however it was $250 per night! Price should be $100 per night. If you just need a simple place to put your head this would do. Anything else, nah.

Half the outlets were not working, the room felt unclean, the kitchenette faucet was missing? We did have a big balcony randomly.

Convenient Stay

The hotel is perfectly centered in the Financial District, steps away from restaurants and shopping including the Oculus at the World Trade Center complex. The hotel offered secure keycard entrance. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. Our room was larger than expected and comfortable. We had a fridge, microwave and table to accommodate us. There are two subway stations right on the corner and a few more within walking distance. The only issue was not even with the hotel itself, it was with the early morning construction crew that began operations promptly at 7 am every day.

Comfortable bed, great shower, clean and warm. The only thing was there was construction going on( not the hotels fault, it was an adjacent project) and they kicked off early, like 7 am, so there was no sleeping in. However it did get me up and running to daily adventures! Any rooms adjoining the back side would more than likely be close to the racket. The work wasn’t happening on the weekends so a bit more quiet. I’d give the place an 8/10 rating and the people were very friendly and helpful.

Great location, nice staff, good place to drop luggage, take a shower and sleep a bit, not more. Doesn’t cost this money, there are much better hotels for this price just must be booked in advance. Air conditioning was noisy even if turn it off you can hear others. And construction in about 50ft from our window was so loud at early morning.
