Lovely place. But the sound is very loud

If you are noise sensitive, avoid this hotel. I love this hotel. Loved the room, design and location. Love the speakeasy in the basement. But this was the loudest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The noise from the street was so loud that even with earplugs I was up the entire night. For some reason the noise comes through the large window so clearly- it doesn’t dampen the sound at all. I loved so many elements of this hotel, but I wish I’d known about the noise. I’ve stayed in many hotels in NYC and never had an issue like this before.

All amazing, but room was super small

The stay was perfectly lovely, and the staff were quite friendly. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was how small the rooms were. My king size room was absolutely microscopic.
