4 stars (maybe more like 4.25) instead of 5 just because the bathroom couldâve been better. There were some hairs still around the tub, which told me it might not have been cleaned as thoroughly as I wouldâve liked before my arrival. The water in the tub also pools around your feet when youâre taking a shower, and because itâs in an attic, the ceiling above the shower is slantedânot ideal for taller people like myself. However, Saudi is a very courteous and communicative host, and I didnât feel like the listing was very misleading or inaccurate. The space was smaller than I had imagined, but it was nicely designed and cozy. There were complimentary bottles of water in the mini fridge (including a tiny freezer box within the fridge) as well as a microwave. The town itself seems safe and quiet. Overall, I was happy with my stay.
Very clean, comfortable, and roomy for the top floor.Bed/mattress was very comfortable which is important to me.Upon check in Saudi assisted me in getting settled and was flexible with my last minute changes to extend my stay. She was also very prompt with responding via text.Parking on street never a problem
What a novel idea! Accommodations priced so attractively that a visit to the Tri-state area, anchored by high-priced NYC, is all the more within reach of travelers of the most-modest budgets. Extraordinary affordability doesn't mean roughing it. Comfort, charm, and convenience aren't sacrificed in this lovely, newly renovated space. Traveler will be disappointed only if expecting Private Suite to be the equal of, say, Manhattan's Waldorf Astoria Hotel. It compares favorably with any of the name brand budget hotels, which in the Tri-State area will cost you twice as much for a night's sleep. It doesn't come with free breakfast. But not surely doesn't take a whopping bite out of your budget.
A cute place to stay with plenty of room for two people. Saudi was very communicative and helpful and put together a lovely welcome book. The only downside is the steep stairs that would be a challenge for people with mobility issues, but it didn't bother us. We had a lovely time.
