A great stay

We stayed here with our family and friends and loved the space, yard, porch. We chose this location because it was a 9 min walk to George Fox doctoral commencement which couldn’t have been better

Great Family Lodging

Our family stayed at the Chahalem Crest to attend the George Fox University Winter Graduation. The property is centrally located to George Fox University and Downtown Newberg- everything is within walking distance. The property was clean and comfortable for a family of 8. The communication between the property management team was responsive and helpful.

Perfect Gathering Place for Wedding Party

Our daughter's best friend was married, and we hosted the bridesmaids for the weekend. The location was the perfect proximity to the wedding venue, and we enjoyed a full weekend of wine tasting and amazing meals. The home was excellent for us to prepare brunch before heading out to explore. Beds were cozy. The weekend was an amazing memory!

Perfect location for wine tasting!

The cute house was just as described. While over 100 years old the owner has updated it while still keeping historic elements. Depending on your group you will want to pay attention that there is one shower and the upstairs bathroom is attached to one of the bedrooms. The property management firm did a great job communicating and everything was very clear. Highly recommend!

The property was terrific, well appointed and close to downtown. Easy to eat in or out. The only drawback was the traffic early morning and late at night. Some kind of sound buffers would help.

Fantastic Location!

This is a great location for visiting the Oregon wineries and for venturing out for dinner! The house was perfect for our ladies trip. There were four of us so we each had our own private bedroom. The common spaces in the kitchen, living room and backyard with a fire pit had plenty of space for all of us. We would definitely stay here again.
