Country Comfort

This little cottage was just the perfect resting place for our adult family. Tucked into the hills of the wine country of Newberg was breathtaking and peaceful in every direction. The cottage was cozy, well appointed and especially all the sweet little welcome touches that Cheryl had to welcome us. We celebrated, laughed and explored. Thank you for contributing to our newest memories of quality family time.

Our stay was wonderful! Asxwe drive in, we were greeted by cows and calves in a pasture behind the house. Fresh flowers, popcorn, a bottle of wine, and chocolates waited for us inside. The house was very clean, the kitchen well stocked, the towels thick and fluffy, the beds comfortable, and decor well done. Our favorite place was the big front porch overlooking the rolling countryside. It is a lovely place to stay.

Gaibler Country Cottage is Simply Charming

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gaibler Country Cottage. The cottage itself was very comfortable and decorated for Fall. It was an easy drive into Newberg and our favorite wineries. We look forward to staying there again.

Truly a Home away from Home!

We couldn’t ask for a better experience. Gaibler Cottage is an absolutely charming property. The house is immaculate with every possible need covered. There is laundry soap, fully stocked kitchen, games, toys, books, baby bath and high chair, shower soap and shampoo, wonderful linens. The bed was super comfy, and we enjoyed drinking our coffee on the front porch every morning. The Flower gardens were gorgeous. We were unexpectedly welcomed with a bouquet of fresh flowers, a handwritten note and a bottle of wine! We also enjoyed meeting the lovely owners. We will be back! Only suggestion I could make would be a full length mirror. Otherwise-perfection!

Family-Friendly Stay

We absolutely loved our stay. The house were perfect. The twin room had toys that our kids played with all weekend, and the bookshelf in the living room had a great selection for stories to read with them! Everything was super clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again when we return to the area!

Cute Cozy Cottage

Such a cute old home. Very clean and organized. The owner was friendly and even came over to introduce herself. We would definitely considered staying her again in the future. They only thing that could make it even better would be more mirrors and a HOT TUB!

Special memories from my 4 nights in this adorable country cottage. The 4 of us has concerns with 3 bedrooms, and only one bath, but to our amazement all was well and I'm so glad it did not influence out decision to stay in this wonderful home and beautiful surroundings.

Fabulous Gaibler Cottage

We were in town for a Sisters weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. Cheryl and her husband were very kind, and made our stay easy. Newberg and the surrounding areas are so fun and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

Texans' Wine Trip

Property was very very clean and comfortable. Perfect size for three adults. Great location for visiting local wineries. Such a nice perk that it included several free wine tastings to various wineries! Owner lives across the street. She stopped by several evenings to visit. She had lots of local history to share along with area interest.

Easter with our sons

We chose this property because it was close to the schools where our sons attend college (George Fox University and Pacific University) and it provided a great space to host them and a few of their friends as we celebrated Easter. The property was very clean, nicely decorated and well-equipped for our purposes. We appreciated having a bit of space and peace and quiet with its location in the country. It was a great fit for our needs.
