We really enjoyed staying on Matt‘s ranch! Fortunately, we had a lovely warm afternoon and were able to have our evening libations on the deck overlooking some beautiful scenery.I think the emphasis should be on identifying it as a suite, not a full kitchen facility. On site were a microwave, a great coffee maker, fridge and dishes, but no real area to prepare food.I would also add that it’s probably best suited for two people because there is only one comfortable sitting area that holds two. Perhaps the addition of another chair and a sofa that doesn’t have quite so much padding would allow another person to be comfortable.Beds were great and the shower was easy to operate with lots of soft warm water.Thanks, Matt, for sheparding us through an odd reservation process!

Beautiful and peaceful setting

Lovely farm setting. Clean, thoughtfully decorated. A bit cramped for our group of six. We were three adults, two kids, and a teen. Plenty of supplies for toast, coffee, and yogurt or cereal but no kitchen. The living room features a La-Z-Boy sofa, not a futon, which caused some challenges for our sleeping arrangements. Space is perfect for four people. Hosts were responsive and took care of our dishes.

Beautiful farm property

Great instructions for check in and arrival. Signage was excellent but lights on path weren't on. However path is wide and level to stairs so not a big deal. Space was very clean and comfortable overall. Love the property with the horses, goats, sheep, chickens and peacocks to observe. It is rural. PGE couldn't get power back for several hours after a downed line and couldn't re-route power, which cut our stay. That was unfortunate, but being in a lovely country setting is why we choose it.

Wine Country Getaway

Our business was in McMinnville, but we wanted to stay slightly out of town. Being in the wine country was so restful. Sheep and peacocks on the property, and dogs and cats on our drives. The rooms were lovely. Only caveat was the description said there was a kitchen, which there was not. Otherwise, would certainly recommend.

Beautiful location but the sound of conversation carries clearly between owners residence and attached rental. Owner was responsive to questions. The view of the surrounding area is impressive. Bed linens smelled unwashed and there was a large bug in the French press.

Girlfriend Getaway

The property was lovely and the room itself was nice enough. The location was ideal for exploring the area, and would be perfect for a wine-tasting trip. Communication with Matt was easy and pleasant. Our issues were with the bedding which was not good quality and the fitted sheets on both beds would not stay on. The room itself needed a more thorough dusting and an upgrade to counter the stale feeling. The "kitchen" arrangement was not sufficient for more than a one night stay. The dirty dishes were not picked up and washed and returned and we would have had to wash them in the bathroom sink (which we did in order to have clean glasses and cups). We had asked for a farm tour, expecting just to be walked around the very small area and introduced to the very small number of animals. A 30 minute tour was offered for $50, which felt not okay given how much we paid for the stay and how very small the farm is. Not a bad stay, and it could have been a 5 star with just a little more attention to detail and care for guests.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful location and property. Very private, cozy, and homey - beds were comfortable. This was a girls trip to wine country and it was close to many vineyards and AVAs. Would happily stay again.

Oregon Wine Country

A great place to stay a visit the Oregon wine area. Best restaurants were Rose Marie’s (Italian) in Newberg and CuvĂ©e a French restaurant in Carlton. PS Carlton was a great place to visit and K & M wine tasting was great. Mount Angles is a great place for German food and great German beers. Mt. Angel’s sausage company for amazing beer and the best sausage. For Mass the Saint Mary’s in MT Angel!! If time allows the Oregon garden is a must. Best Winery Willamette Valley winery in Turner OR. Newberg also has a great group of people to play pickleball with.

Gorgeous location and very friendly host

Matt was a great host - very accommodating to all of our questions and needs during our stay. Gorgeous location overlooking the valley and his farm and animals. Would definitely recommend this place!!
