The check-in clerk had the worst customer service skills that Iâve encountered during a hotel check in at a Hilton location. She probably wonât be there long so future guest wonât have to suffer.
I made two separate 1 day reservations as our original stay for 1 day was increased to two. Upon check-in I let her know that and she indicated that there were no promises that I would be able to stay in the same room. I then inquired if I would have to go through the check-out and check-in process again and she didnât know but stated maybe. Clueless!
She let me know that I could go ahead and pay for another night against the first reservation so to ensure I didnât have to move rooms. Unacceptable as I had already prepaid for two nights. She then started to mock me! I checked in and moved on with my day. I noticed the rest of the staff were extremely pleasant.
My "Poor" Review is only based on one issue, the poor customer service at check-in!
I made an initial reservation for one night. We then needed to extend our stay so I made a second reservation for an additional night. I prepaid both nights to save money.
Upon arrival and at check-in I informed the receptionist that I had two reservations for 1 night each and that I wish to stay in the same room for both nights. She informed me that I may have to check out and possibly switch rooms to which I wasn't excited about. "Erika" demeanor during the whole process was very confrontational and wasn't one geared towards customer service that this hotel is known for. I reminded her who the customers was and she continued her degrading manner.
Hey, we all have choices where we want to stay and I was blown away being treated like I was.
I won't stay there again, not while she works there.
Absolutely POOR customer service on the hotels part!
Being a loyal customer I was highly disappointed with the lpoor level of professional and customer service. The front desk attendant on 2 different occasions was rude and loud talking myself and the customer service respresentive ( with her own hilton reservation department). I was there due to medical and business purposes. Slated to be from a Tues to Monday. Had to cut my bisit short due to the way the call and rhe extension of my reservation was handled. I am a very patient understanding business women who values loyalty and good customer service. I with this being t he 2nd time the service has been poor and the pool is still incomplete a year later. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I pray things improve becomes you never know whom and what influences a person staying at the facility may , especially not based off of color or gender.
I asked with my original reservations for an early check in. I called a couple of days prior to the reservation to confirm an early check in. We were attending a wedding in the area and needed a place to get ready. We arrived at 12:45 so we would have plenty of time before leaving for the wedding at 3:30. The person at the reservation desk said that she saw the note about an early check in on our reservation but we couldnât check in until 3:00. I told her the situation and she was adamant that we could not check in until 3:00. We were using our room only for getting ready for the wedding. We were not spending the night.
She refused to let us out of our reservation so we could find another room. I called Hotels.com and they tried to get us released from the room but the hotel refused.
We got to check in at 2:45.
There were only 6 cars in the parking lot, including mine. There had to be a room where we could have gone to get ready for the wedding.
