We stayed here for one night and loved it. The property is newly refurbished and beautifully done. Great food and drinks, lovely bar area, great staff throughout. It felt like a luxury stay right down to the large bath sheet size towels. The property is old with lots of character. Just one word of warning that the room we had booked had a low ceiling in the bathroom which meant that my husband (6'3") couldn't stand upright. They moved us into a different room with no fuss but if you're staying there at a busier time and over 6' tall then you might want to check with the hotel in advance.
