After a long day travelling it was disappointing for the money we paid. No support people onsite is terrible for visitors who wanted to know where to go for dinner. Our room was 2 stories up stairs with no lift. Our room was next to a pub which was noisy and played music to 12am. So could not get to sleep
Until after midnight and we had to leave at 6am. The drinking glass provided in the room was filthy, needs washing thoroughly. Pillows had hard plastic covers under the pillowslips so very noisy everytime you moved your head. The smell in the room is of musty and made me want to vomit. The room was clean but carpet and chair were badly stained, so it felt very unclean. They need to lift their game and give people value for what they paid. They have lost a customer here!
Information text msgs from Tudor Inn were excellent in regards to Check-In. Expect TV Remote to have batteries & battery cover. Shower Head was unable to be tightened on arm. These 2 items should be a minimum pre check-in test by staff. It was very clean so that was good. However, I would not stay again due to the 2 basic requirements stated are an expectation in any Motel Room.
Comfortable bed, good shower pressure and hot water.
The TV was small,and the lighting was not great, pillows with plastic were horrible, but luckily there were a couple without the plastic.
The staff seem helpful enough if you ask? No plates or knives, and you wouldn’t want to walk on the dirty carpet without something on your feet, that’s for sure! Overall we had a decent sleep and hot shower. And peaceful surroundings.
We only stayed one night as the room had mould. Which affected my wife’s health.
The room Reid of dampness and water was leaking through the window.
The window sealing was poor which allowed wind and rain to get in.
We seek a refund for one night please.
We were only there for business. It was very close and convenient. Room is very well priced ( cheap ) so there were no added luxury but provided a bed for the 3 nights. I have stayed there before and will stay again
As soon as we arrived we were dissatisfied as parking was limited & no assigned spots it was whoever arrived first got a spot then upon entering the building we were confronted with a dank musty smell of wet carpets..
our room was up 3 flights of stairs & on every floor there was laundry bags still outside the rooms an hour after check in time ie: 3pm
We then opened the door to our room & it stunk of cigarettes & mould..
we found cigarette butts on the landing outside & sheets weren't changed they still had previous creases in them..
there was no cups in the room but had tea n coffee & no one on the premises to help we booked 2 nights spent first nite with fans on n doors open because of the smell & left the next morning & demanded a refund but haven't received it yet after 2 days...
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone
