Gorgeous smell in foyer as we arrived so gave us a great feeling straight away. The young man on reception was fabulous, very welcoming and friendly. Our room was very spacious but not quite as Expedia had described, we booked a Premium King room on your site, we actually had a Queen bed and not a King. I mentioned this to the duty manager and he explained very politely that they don’t have any King beds and if we had booked on the IHG site we would been informed that it would be a Queen not a King, I explained that this is very misleading and straight away he offered a £20 credit for drinks in the bar, a very kind gesture. The room was exceptionally comfortable, Dove products and nice white bedding and fluffy towels. We had water and Pepsi in the fridge and tea/coffee in the room. We opted to include the breakfast and again couldn’t fault it, plenty of choice and a lovely fresh space in which to enjoy our breakfasts, staff again very pleasant and helpful. I’ve never stayed in Holiday Inn but will 100% have no hesitation to stay again. A very satisfying stay, well done, fabulous.
