Are stay at the Coast.

The ocean house was nice and clean. The view of the ocean was great. Could of been better if the bushes cut down. Was no beach access and you had to drive to find one. The house,hot tub and fire pit was really nice. We did enjoy are stay.

BEWARE! No direct beach access from the unit! It is ten blocks, 42nd to 32nd St, to a very busy public beach. (By their definition, half of Newport has “beach access”).

good idea, poor execution

Location is great. Beach access is deceiving, you can get near the beach but water gets in the way. The unit needs new flooring, blinds, and a good window cleaning. Kitchen is poorly stocked, not even salt and pepper.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great place to stay. The view is so beautiful. The complaints I have: there was only one small and dinner sized plate in the whole place. It’s hard to eat steak in a bowl! There was no propane tank - had I known I would have brought one. Lastly, the property doesn’t have beach access.

Not ADA friendly Since you have to go down a steep stairway way to get to the bottom level. But the back porch and the grassy knoll make it a great place to sip some wine and watch the sunset. The hike to the beach is a little far in a little rustic but worth an adventure not suitable for young children under five or elderly. Beautiful beach so once you get down the hill and pretty private. Left the hot tub in the full use of a full kitchen very clean and very nice.

I had problems with the code to get into the house. I did not receive it before I arrived.the oven did not work, the floors are a trip hazard for older people.the view was beautiful.

the horrible basement with no beach access as was advertised!!!

this was advertised and beachfront but it had no beach access. I specifically went over this with the management when i booked it and stated "oh it has that trial at the back of the house for beach access, but when we arrived a little sign was posted at that location saying no beach access. A cleaning woman was still present when we arrived because she was trying to get towels dry (the dryer will not dry anything) and so we ask her about the beach access and she pointed us to a map on the frig which said a 5 minute walk to the beach and gave a map with little to no detail which showed a trail which did not exist and we ended up walking much longer than 5 minutes to get to the beach and never did really use the beach because it was a hassle to get to the beach from your location, also, the lock box came apart when we checked in and we had to fix that, the property was dirty and the mattress and box spings sits on the floor, the backroom is a badly painted concrete floor and we had no access to television so we could ever catch the news or anything we wanted to watch at night The baseboards in that house look like they have a black film in the corners and in some places reminding one of possible mold. We paid an outlandish extra fee for something but had to take out the trash, empty the diswasher etc before we left. I property is badly overpriced when you add the fee which you do not advertise and tac on once your place is selected. We could not use the hot tub because someone from the house as left dirty clothing outside by the hottub and it is poorly kept. We could hear everything from upstairs and it sounded like someone was running quite a bit of the time. The parking for this basement is only one space there are two apartments # 10 and # 11 at the location and one night we come home to fine the parking which we thought was ours taken by someone in 10 and we had to go to that location and get someone up to move their car or place our rental car at risk of someone damaging it because it would have had to have been left out in the driveway posing the risk of an accident to the auto and to anyone else who ran into it in that dark driveway. We left a day early because of the poor conditiion of this property - I don't think you are entitled to be paid for that day , or for the 500+ fee you charge us for cleaning and all these other complaints. Your place is a mess!!!!!

Great place, almost perfect but…

The rental was nice but there were a few things that could be better. My complaints are all based on furnishings - There were no forks and only two spoons in the kitchen, there were only two chairs for the table, and the box springs/ mattress were on the floor. The view was fantastic but the beach access required you to cross a marshy area and a stream. I led with the bad but we really did enjoy our stay and the location was fantastic.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this little lower level beach condo. Gorgeous view of the ocean and a nicely stocked kitchen for cooking for yourself. There's a great hot tub, but it's shared with the people who may be staying above you so just be prepared for that. The gas stove in the living room warms the place up very quickly. Downsides: The glassware needs to be revamped/restocked - there were no wine glasses. There was not enough bedding for the pull out couch in the living room. If people are staying upstairs it's loud when they're walking around. There were no batteries in the remote - so we couldn't figure out how to stream things on the TV, but there was cable. The shower curtain was moldy. Lastly, there's a door that leads to the upstairs over by the washer and dryer and it seemed that people could walk into the lower level from upstairs - this needs to be fixed for safety reasons.

Beautiful Place But Loud

I had a fairly good time staying here. The view was beautiful and the beach access was great. I also liked how close the house was to town. The one thing that was not communicated was that you are on the lower level of the house. I was privileged to be staying below the “elephant” family! I could hear every single step they took and by the end of the second day I was out of my mind. It was maddening. I did call the management and they very helpful. They did everything they could for me but it just wasn’t enough. If you plan on staying here you might want to call ahead to see if the upper level is vacant.

Would never stay there again. Not even for free

Where to start.. there was a bottle cap and dust under heater stove. Couldnt set temp. When stove was on it was very hot and when off cold. No box spring on bed. 2 plates only and not even the same size. You could hear wverything from people above. Bushes were so high, hard to see ocean. I could go on. Not even paper towels. Would never recommend this place ever
