The house is in a lovely location -- the view from the deck is amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub and the back yard was perfect for our dog.The house, itself, is dated and could definitely use some improvements. The front door lock was especially challenging, and we were warned that the oven didn't work. (Actually, we were told that ONE of the ovens doesn't work, but there was only one oven, soooo ..... ???) We got a lot of conflicting information from the management company, including three different network names/passwords and two different sets of checkout instructions. They were always quick to respond, but we just weren't always sure what we were supposed to do.Anyway, as I said, the view from the deck is lovely, and the location is good. But there are some ..... issues.

We stayed here over spring break and really enjoyed the charm of this classic Oregon coast beach house. It’s super cute, cozy, and has that older, rustic feel that fits the area perfectly. The view is beautiful, and the short trail down to the beach was easy and convenient. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, although the oven wasn’t working properly during our stay.The main challenge we encountered was cleanliness. When we arrived, the house hadn’t been thoroughly cleane- the sheets appeared unwashed, and the bathroom floors needed attention. I reached out to Vacasa right away and ended up changing the sheets and doing some vacuuming myself.Overall, it’s a lovely spot with great potential and a fantastic location, but the cleaning standards need improvement to match the rest of the experience

The property was clean, the kitchen was surprisingly well stcked with basic items, including spices. The proximity to a trail to the beach was a plus, as was the view from the deck and public space steps away from the house.

Great house. TV was easy. Comfortable beds. Private.Nice to have a garage. Wonderful to have the yard. (Why we booked.) The only glitch was there was no mention of the key in the lockbox in the check-in instructions. NONE. We were tired, it was windy, the sun was in my eyes. When the code repeatedly did not work, I of course had to call. The worst part was I could not understand what I was being instructed to do. The accent was so thick, it was not fun. We will re-book!

Fantastic location, but...

First, the positives: This property is located in a spectacular location if you're looking for a seaside experience. There's a wonderful deck with a view of the ocean. You can also hear it when the windows are open. It's exhilarating.It is VERY spacious. The photos don't do justice to the room that's available. In addition to the large upstairs, there's a lower level with its own full bath and a large flat-screen TV. We didn't use it; the upstairs level was sufficient.I like to cook, and the kitchen was well furnished. We didn't lack for anything."Room for improvement": The door entry code was 10 digits. Assuming my college statistics isn't failing me, this allows for 10 billion possible permutations. This isn't necessary, and having to pull our phones to see the code every time we entered the property quickly became tiresome. Every other property we have stayed at used a 4-digit code. This allows for 10,000 possible permutations. This is adequate - so why inflict needless pain on a customer?The upstairs bathroom was... gross. There was hair on the floor and on the walls of the shower. We didn't feel comfortable bathing until we picked it up ourselves. The mirror and the sink fixtures also needed to be cleaned.The soap dish also needs to be reattached (see photo). One of the upstairs beds is also coming apart, and has also detached from the wall (see photo). Our guest who slept in said it felt like it was on the verge of collapse. It needs repair or replacement.

We come to the area for work at this time of the year. We had been staying at a hotel for the past decade and decided to try out a home this time. Couldn’t be happier we did! Blue wave was amazing. Relaxing, quiet, awesome beach, dog friendly, hot tub was lovely! Just what we needed for the weekend.

Quiet getaway with sounds of surf

Some friends and I stayed several nights here. It was spacious, clean and very well stocked. The hot tub was a nice luxury and there is a path down to the beach but it’s not easy for some. My friend’s dog loved the fenced yard too. Our only issue we had was that this proPerry is actually managed by Vacasa and for some reason they changed our door code on our second day and did not communicate that and then tried to gaslight us when we called to ask for help when we’re locked out. We all double checked our email and texts but there was zero alerts! Not impressed with Vacasa.

Girls weekend

Nice home, clean, seems to be set up to accommodate more than 4. We enjoyed the hot tub and upstairs. We would’ve enjoyed the fireplace if wood was available on property. The oven was a little weird but functional. Hot tub maybe could use a retractable awning to use in the rain, and maybe some better lighting. Beach access was awesome but not accessible for elderly or little kids. Plenty of towels, blankets, pots and pans and dishes. Overall, a great stay!!
