Our group of friends always looks forward to our trips together and this met every hope and expectation!
The road in seems like it can be a little tricky and some group members had some trouble with their GPS, but that's to be expected in the mountains, so you may need to allow extra time to arrive. Bringing printed maps of the area might be a good idea, but several carriers seemed just fine.
We have a couple group members who use canes or chairs, and the only concern was the path from where we parked into the house. The path is flagstone. It's about 25 ft or so to navigate, but the chickens were a bigger obstacle than any unevenness. Once into the house, there are no thresholds on the first floor. The bathrooms and even the showers are all reasonably accessible on the first floor.
The top bedroom can be a little tricky for some people, it's a spiral staircase into the loft upstairs. The home and all of the rooms were clean and bright and extra blankets and towels were easy to find. The host had kindly turned the heaters on before we had arrived and we were thankful for her consideration. The Wi-Fi connection was very strong throughout the house which made it fun to stream music or even videos.
The back patio is perfect for looking out over the valley, it's gorgeous to just sit and watch the chickens, turkeys and guinea hens run around in the yard.
The hosts were so gracious with their time and expertise, answering all of our questions about the animals. It's clear that they really love what they do and the home that we stayed in.
We would absolutely rent from them again without hesitation!
