Overall, our stay was good. The 2nd floor apartment had what we needed. The floors were very creaky so it was impossible to quietly move around at night. I hope we didnât disturb the downstairs neighbors. It was difficult to make a quiet entrance through the main doors and up the stairs. The lock on the door was pretty loud and every little sound seemed to be amplified in the hallway. The kitchen was ok. There was no dishwasher but the posting didnât say that there would be one. The kitchen drawers where the silverware was could have been a little cleaner. Some drawer liners would have helped.
Nice, spacious living space felt like home. The living space and property were clean, secure, well-maintained and nicely styled. Plenty of space for us during our stay. The porch was a very enjoyable addition in the evenings as we had perfect weather during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware and prep items but the pots and pans were in unusable condition so we bought our own skillet and spatula to leave for future guests. I suggest to the owner to replace the pots and pans with stainless steel or ceramic, the Teflon was trashed. The toaster oven didn't work but that wasn't a deal breaker since the oven was available. Only coffee was provided, which was disappointing as we have stayed in other BnB's which kept fully stocked kitchens, including condiments (ketchup, butter/margarine, etc.) fresh eggs, assorted beverages to at least provide for a quick breakfast. The neighborhood was okay, people were out and kids played nearby but only the immediate area felt safe. The on-site parking was very tight for our car and the other tenant considering there was no space to turn around and a narrow driveway. On street might be a better choice. Overall, our stay was pleasant and provided most of what we needed for our two night stay.
Cleaner than any hotel weâve stayed in. Roomy with comfortable beds. Just what we needed after a long day of driving and viewing the Falls. Thank you!
The house was cute with all amenities we needed! The covered balcony was a fave spot of ours-super comfy, in the shade, and very quiet. Kitchen had limited supplies, so be sure to check what they have before planning meals. Worked perfect for our 2 night stay!
This house was a great choice for our family of 5 for a brief stay to see the sites in Niagara Falls. Plenty of room, clean, and generally open floorplan. This is an upstairs unit but the stairs were manageable. We loved the front open air porch to relax on. The neighborhood was quiet. The narrow driveway was a bit challenging but no big deal.
Very clean and organized, just 10 minutes from Niagara Falls. It has parking for the car and everything you need to spend a few amazing days. The experience was excellent.
Enjoyed our stay. We loved sitting outside on the deck out front. The weather was perfect. Bedrooms were big, beds were comfortable. House is pretty creaky, but we expected it given the age of the house, just felt a little bad for the people below us when we were walking around. Loved how close we were to the falls, and just a short drive to Buffalo.
House was as listed. Good sized rooms, balcony was a hit with the kids, and house was a 7 minute drive from the national park. Easy!
Minor housekeeping issues: Top bunk sheets were dirty and had hair, when we rolled down the blankets for my kids. Glasses had lip marks and needed to be rewashed before using. Another roll of paper towels would have been appreciated.
Otherwise, good home base for a great eclipse trip!
We had a great stay! The property was clean, spacious, and well-kept - plenty of room for the four of us. The drive to the falls was about 12 minutes, which wasnât bad at all. We made use of the kitchen, cooking quite a bit and everything was in working order. Next time, we will bring more of our own larger mixing bowls, pans, etc. for what we usually plan for meals. They had all the basics though, plus they even had olive oil, salt, and pepper. We would definitely stay here again!
