Rental ideally located in the most fashionable area of the city near Place du Pin on the top floor with elevator 2 steps from the sea and old Nice. Station of blue bikes and blue cars at the foot of the building. This 40 m2 crossing rental has a 20 m2 terrace and a 10 m2 balcony. It has been completely renovated and has reversible air conditioning. The fact of being on the top floor (6th floor) makes this rental very quiet and little affected by noise from the street. We had a fantastic stay at Sophie’s place. It is well located, a good size for two, and particularly enjoyed the two balconies. A short walk to some good restaurants and old town. We would be happy to stay again.

It’s not in a marsh!

We stayed in this apartment 6 years ago, so we knew we’d like it. Stylish bedroom with open racking, an airy living space, a tiny kitchen area and *two* balconies: one looks over rooftops to the hills, the other has a view of the lively place du Pin. Why ‘marsh area’ (and it was ‘swamp’ when the apartment was with a different agency? I’m guessing it’s a mistranslation from Paris’s Marais. Vrbo, please note!

Great Location in Nice

The apartment is on the top floor (there is an elevator) with stunning views from the back terrace. The front terrace overlooks the streets and restaurants. The apartment was efficient, the kitchen had everything you need plus a washer! The bathroom was typical, small shower which could feel cramped for some people. The only issue was the square pillows on the bed, not what we are used to but apparently it’s a French thing. The location can’t be beat, a close walk to old Nice and the Girabaldi metro station. Take tram 2 from the airport. Overall, you won’t go wrong with this apartment.

One of few self contained cottages near old town. 5 minutes to old town and public transport. Two penthouse terraces with views was great as was air con. Host easily contactable. Second set of towels would have been preferable and shower very compact.

Wonderful apartment near the port and Old Nice!

The apartment is in a terrific location, with numerous restaurants nearby, and grocery stores around the corner. Only a 5-minute walk to the Garibaldi tram stops which made it easy to access the airport or train station. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was adequately equipped. It was lovely having two balconies; one was always shaded from the intense sun. Hostess Sophie was very accommodating regarding our arrival schedule which was altered several times by airline changes/delays.

Sophie's place is wonderful!

Location is so great, very close to beautiful Port Lympia and many bars, restaurants and cafe's right outside, walking distance to Old Nice. Sophie is lovely and welcoming, she met us when we arrived, the space has everything you need for a short stay and the balconies are a nice bonus, the picutres do not do it justice. Would happily stay again, thank you Sophie :)

The apartment was a great place to stay in Nice. It was clean, air conditioned, and had everything we needed, including beach towels and mats! The balconies are lovely to sit out on. Sophie was very quick to respond to any messages. The elevator in the building was great for transporting our bags. The location was very central and near the old town and the beach.

Perfection!

Wonderful host, beautiful apartment, fab location. Well equipped with everything you might need for a pleasant stay in Nice, and with a balcony on either side you get both morning and evening sun! We can't thank Sophie enough, and would definitely stay again!

Lovely apartment in a charming neighborhood close to the sea.

We had a wonderful stay at Sophie's apartment. She was cordial and helpful upon our arrive. The location and amenities allowed us to shop at the highly rated markets in Nice, cook meals, and enjoy the two terraces while being a short walk from the beach and Old Nice. The reason that we could give only a 4 star rating for the online description is that the listing stated that there was an oven, but there is only a microwave and not an oven. Otherwise, everything was great and we will look to stay in this apartment again.

Hi, Great location as only minutes from the port and old town as well as trams to central Nice and the airport. Top 6th floor view from two balconies was good. while small was quite ok for two people. Needs a few minor additions to facilities Regards Trevor

Fantastic apartment in the heart of Nice

The apartment was perfect, it had everything we needed and the 2 balconies were fantastic with sun both ends of the day. The apartment was very clean and the location is brilliant, close to the port, trams and plenty of restaurants and bars that give a great buzz to the area, 3 supermarkets within a short walk made shopping easy. Sophie was fantastic and went above n beyond waiting for us to arrive which because of delays and tram shortages meant we didn't arrive till midnight. Check out was quick and easy with Sophie's daughter arriving exactly on time. I would recommend this apartment and will definitely stay again when we visit my son who lives in Nice. Thank you Sophie

The location of this property was excellent! We were close to the airport tram, 12 minute walk to the train station and right in the center of many restaurants and bars! The home was cozy and perfect for our short stay in Nice.

The property was nice and the hostess was a lovely person, kind and considerate to our needs.

The neighborhood was vibrant and fun with a variety of excellent restaurants to choose from. The transfer to the Nice Airport is also very doable by subway. The space and furnishings were adequate and the 2 outside balconies were a nice bonus. However, we would have been happy to pay a little more to arrive at a really clean unit with higher quality linens, and an extra roll of toilet paper.

Great Location

The building doesn’t look much on the outside but we loved the apartment and its two balconies, one for the morning sun, the other for afternoon. We’ve been to Nice several times and this is by far the best accommodation we’ve found. The ‘marsh’ in Sophies title refers to the fact it is located in the city’s gay quarter, not that it bothered myself or my wife.

Wonderful time in Nice!

The apartment was spacious, airy, comfortable, and close to restaurants and supermarkets. The balconies on both sides of the apartment provides great air flow whenever the doors are open. The apartment is close to public transportation for sightseeing in any part of Nice and the rest of the French Riviera. The kitchen had cookware so that we could prepare meals if desired. Sophie had spices, cooking oil, coffee, and other start up supplies such as paper towels, toilet papert, etc. available. Sophie even had books and videos available to relax after sightseeing all day. How thoughtful! The only suggestions I would recommend is the apartment needs a fresh coat of paint and a periodic detailed cleaning. Overall, a great stay. THANK YOU Sophie!🙂👍

Best stay near old Nice

Perfect spacious apartment in ideal location near old Nice. Great for walking to restaurants, patisseries, boulangeries and even the beaches. Terraces in apartment are great for morning breakfast and afternoon drinks. Sophie was so helpful for making arrival and departure easy and gave us many local suggestions. Apartment is very well stocked with supplies.

Fabulous holiday

Flight was late but Sophie waited to meet us. Apartment was so clean, tidy and exactly how we imagined it from the pictures. Great communication from Sophie through booking process to meeting her. Lovely lady who explained everything in English in detail for us. The terraces were fabulous - one for the morning sun and the other for the afternoon even with a canopy to protect from the heat! Even a good collection of English books and dvds! Air con through the apartment kept it lovely and cool, but just wish it had reached the bedroom a little more. Bathroom was perfect and beautifully decorated! A new sofa arrived during our stay which was lovely. Having a washing machine was essential with going to the beach a lot and we were able to wash towels and such whenever we needed to! Thanks to Sophie we have had a fabulous holiday and really don’t want to leave
