They gave us a room overlooking the construction site. And despite asking for a different room they did not accommodate the request. They said “they were booked”. The resort was empty. EMPTY!!! Never mind all the extra charges for everything!!! Including palapas. Seems as though if booking through another agency like Expedia they treat those patrons differently! This should NOT happen especially if they are the ones choosing to work with a third party for booking. Not cool 👎

So i have a problem with orbitz and hilton Orbitz doesnt tell you about the $70 a day resort fee which i will be fighting and dispute on my credit card. The property is very nice the people that work there are very good. My biggest problem is that Hilton charges a service fee on EVERYTHING. Thats why after one day we stopped eating and drinking there. So every drink or drop of food between tax and SERVICE fee its almost an additional 18%. And thats not a tip they say it pays the employees This would hold me back from using Hilton again

Beautiful resort, still under construction, but definitely recommend once they finish construction, close to everything, walking distance to anything you desire, we will definitely return, very family oriented, night life is loud, but once you are in your room you don't here anything,,just beautiful.

Just overly not impressed. Computers were down at check in. We were able to use the facility, but noone guided us anywhere. Was told to change into our swimsuits in the lobby restroom. Showers ran cold until water heated up. Asked for fresh towels, they left the dirty ones. Construction on site but was made aware of it at time of booking.

Only thing I wish we could’ve changed or knew about was the renovations that were going on right beside us. But the experience there was excellent would recommend it to anyone.

It was really great in how accommodating they were to different allergies. Specifically when it came to eating gluten free and cross contamination. The renovations going on were pretty frustrating. The worst part was the beach chair rental situation. It is frustrating to have to pay extra to book for chairs or shade. There are many hidden fees.

Clean and in a great area; service was also great, but some of the amenities need to be updated and some of the pricing for booking lounge chairs and poolside accommodations are too pricey. Otherwise, would visit again.

Housekeeping was not the best we have ever had. We had to call a couple of times because they failed to the fill our soap and shampoo dispensers. They also failed to replace our coffee cups daily. Lastly, we had to endure the smell from people smoking pot in their room. We reported it but it was never taken care of

We have stayed at this property several times. The room updates were well done and the staff is amazing as always. The construction was supposed to be wrapping up mid 2025 seems to be stalled. Some grounds are still closed off and the construction noise begins at 7:00 AM not the advertised 8:30 AM. The Fitness facility was also closed for most of our stay. I would recommend staying elsewhere for the next six months to a year.

The hotel is nice but the downfall is when you pay a security deposit for the room, the hotel gives you a run around for the refundable deposit. I was told, I should get my security deposit back within 3-5 business days. It’s been well over 2 weeks since I stayed at this hotel and never received it back. When I spoke with customer services, I was told I would get a different amount that was printed on my receipt(which is way less). Not understanding why if I left the room in great condition and never used anything that I had to pay for. Till this day, I never received it. I’m being told now, it will take over 10 days because I used to debit card instead of a credit card. My advice, be on top of them for your deposit back because if you do not speak up, they will keep your deposit.
