Great house, great stay!

We stayed 5 nights with 5 adults and 5 kids (ages 9-15). This is an excellent house for families with kids, very spacious home with plenty of space to spread out. Access to the beach via private path was priceless! Extremely easy to get to the beach with all your gear! Communication was good and house was as described.

Excellent Location!

6 Family members aged 14 to 76 stayed for a week. The location of the property is excellent!!! Right on the beach! Easy walk to the fishing pier. Just beautiful. We sat on the beach and watched wildlife and ships. When it was too hot, we could do the same from the balconies or inside. The view was truly amazing. We fished and found shells and seaglass. We rented kayaks and fishing rods. We just had the best week. The house was clean, but could use some upkeep. A fresh coat of paint, a new dishwasher, some decor, and a few more kitchen items and this house would be a force to be reckoned with! We had an issue with the hot water on our second day, but the host came out (on a Sunday) and fixed it right away for us! We really enjoyed ourselves. We would definitely stay here again!

Birthday Getaway

The house is located on the beach-perfect for young children if they need to run back to the house or to grab lunch and eat on the beach. George was very responsive when we experienced a problem with the AC unit. It didn't bother our stay at all. Everything was very clean and it was easy to get to restuarants, etc from the location. My birthday weekend was perfect! I would definately stay here again.

Thanksgiving 2024

My family just had Thanksgiving at this house and although house was lovely, it was not prepared for a gathering such as that. First, communicating with the property manager was efficient but not welcoming at all. Sometimes borderline rude. One of the questions I specifically asked was about having the kitchen necessities to cook a holiday meal. He said they did. It was VERY limited. They didn’t even have dish towels and not enough pots and pans. Had I known I would have brought our things. The heat was not working properly. It never went past 66. That made it uncomfortable for all. Having said that, the house was plenty of space for my family but I would definitely bring more things because it was lacking. It didn’t have games, books or anything welcoming at all. I was disappointed. I have rented many houses and this just seemed like it didn’t have much bc it isn’t rented much. If you choose to stay there, bring EVERYTHING. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms clean, but you need to bring everything!

It was a short stay, but well worth the money. My only complaint would be the check out time. If that could be extended to 11, but the home was beautiful, it was right on the beach as described. Great outdoor and indoor space.

My friends and I stayed here for a night while having a bachelor party in VA Beach. The home was very comfortable and had more than enough room to accompany all of us. The short trail to the beach with the views was an added bonus. Definitely recommend for large and small groups!

Ocean Ave Beach house

What a beautiful beach house! The house is very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen provided everything needed to cook, and be casual. The location is awesome! The host, George, was quick to reply to me and I appreciate that good communication. The VRBO description was 100% true. Would definitely recommend and also book again. Happy Summer!

Loved Our Stay!

If you're looking for a rejuvenating getwaway, this is the booking for you. A few short steps and you are on the beach. It's quiet but a few but in walkig distance you are close to everything. The master suite is phenomenal. Balcony with full ocean view. I would absolutely book here again. Amenities are awesome! You cannot beat sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise and set over the water.
