We stayed here last Christmas for 10 nights, and this Christmas for 7 nights. The property has gone downhill since last year; lose trim in room that keeps you from opening drawers, rust in bath tub, paint wore off doors and more. We had NO room service the entire 7 nights! We emptied our trash! No clean towels or cleaning of the room!! They are now charging $10/day for parking. I highly recommend you stay across the street at Home2. We stayed there in February and much, much better.

The staff was very friendly. However the hallways and common areas were never vacuumed or mopped. The sink in our room was leaking out the bottom so we had to put a bowl under it. We let them know the night we arrived, but it took 3 days and another call for them to fix it. It started leaking again though. Everything is topical nice looking, but when you LOOK at it, wall paper is uneven and peeling in areas, doors are held together with duct tape, tiles are completely uneven and dangerous in areas, carpet is clearly missing in spots. It literally is like a cheap landlord did a super cheap renovation. The staff is so nice. It’s terrible the owner doesn’t take better care of the hotel. Word of mouth is everything.

My room had some definite quirks. The shower hot/cold was reversed, the toilet ran if the handle was not jiggled, there was a weird tapping every morning at 5am (I think it was the water line), the door handle would only open if lifted upwards, not if it was pressed down, and we got locked out of the building and our room after breakfast the last day, even though we still had at least an hour to checkout time. Most of these things were not too much bother, but it was a whole lot of little things that added up. The staff was great though.
