Holiday home with lake view on Rådmansö, Norrtälje | SE13037
Welcome to a newly built and modern holiday home of 150 square meters, located on a quiet and private forest plot on Rådmansö in Roslagen, just outside Norrtälje and with convenient proximity to Stockholm. The house offers high comfort and is perfect for families, friends or for those who want to combine nature experiences with remote work. There is room for up to 8 guests and the house is built to maximize light and outdoor time, with sun from early morning to late evening.
The house has four bedrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with a 1.80 m double bed and an adjustable desk for work. One bedroom has a bunk bed with space for up to three people. The other two bedrooms have double beds of 1.40 m each, one of which also has a desk and computer screen. There is a large and modern fully equipped kitchen, adapted for large dinners and baking, and a spacious living room with a large sofa facing the forest and a glimpse of the lake. The house has two fully tiled bathrooms in natural granite, with both a shower and a bathtub. There is also a separate laundry room with a washing machine, dryer and its own entrance. For a comfortable temperature all year round, there are two heat and AC pumps. Fiber internet, TV with Google Chromecast, cinema sound and HDMI connection as well as two dedicated workplaces make the house well suited for remote work. For quiet days and evenings, there are plenty of board games and books.
On the natural plot there are two large terraces – one at the front and one at the back – which means you can always choose between sun and shade during the day. The rear terrace faces the forest and glimpses of the sea and offers a quiet and private environment, while the front terrace is perfect for afternoon sun. There is also a Weber gas grill for summer barbecues and long dinners outdoors. The plot offers wild blueberries, raspberries and strawberries along the way, perfect for baking or a simple dessert. Only about three minutes walk away is a bathing jetty by the lake, and another larger jetty can be reached in about ten minutes. For those who prefer sea swimming, there is a nice beach with sand, a jetty and swings within about twenty minutes of leisurely walk. The forest right next to the house is ideal for morning runs, walks and mushroom picking during the autumn.
Things to see and do on Rådmansö and in the surrounding area
Rådmansö and the area around Baltora offer plenty of beaches, nature experiences and excursion destinations. There are great opportunities for hiking, cycling and swimming, both in the lake and the sea. The proximity to major roads makes it easy to get to Norrtälje, the archipelago and Stockholm. The summer town of Norrtälje is only about 15 minutes away and offers shopping, restaurants and a charming city center. From Norrtälje harbor you can also take Vaxholm boats to explore the archipelago. Stockholm can be reached in about an hour, which makes the house perfect for day trips to the capital.
Please note that a fishing license is required for fishing in the lake.
