We rented this house with a couple of our friend's families as we were in Myrtle beach for a soccer tournament. We thought it would be fun to have a pool and be walking distance from the beach. The check in process was not easy as we had to go meet the property management person in the parking lot of the company selling the home just to show our ID even though I had to take a selfie and picture of my ID online already. When we got to the house it was so dirty, the floors had not been cleaned, there was a screwdriver on the kitchen counter, a dirty used washcloth in the downstairs bathroom, and the toilet had not been cleaned. When I reached out to the host they told me to send info to the cleaners (that is their job NOT mine). The cleaners then sent a neighbor over to clean what she could, (extremely awkward). Then when we tried to run the dishwasher it filled up with dirty water and the garbage disposal was broken. As we checked out we saw an old garbage disposal in the trash. So whoever was suppose to fix it did not hook it up properly I am guessing. When leaving the house each day the front door was so hard to lock as well. Each time I reached out to the host they were not accommodating and did not have resolutions. The pool was low of water and freezing cold, we could not even use it. It is a bummer they do not take better care of this house as it is in a great location in North Myrtle.
