Spring break

The property was very nice! Lots of pools for everyone. Excellent proximity to beach. Room was laid out well with plenty of room. Check in was pleasant and staff were always helpful.

Had the best weekend!

Awesome hotel and a lot of fun especially for my toddler age kid. Will absolutely come back! Only negative about this room in particular was the water pressure in the shower however, that didn't stop us from enjoying our stay.

Hope you like sunrises and the sound of the ocean

Our room was spotless, and it looks like the fridge itself is brand new. It's hard to describe how beautiful the sunrises are. We got up each morning and sat on the balcony with coffee, listening to the ocean in front of us, and watched the sky go from black to orange to red to blue. We are already looking at our next stay here.

The room was fantastic

We loved the space saving Murphy bed. The fold out couch was great as well. The furniture was comfortable when not used as a bed, and they were easy to put up and pull out. The TV was a learning experience, but we got it. I enjoyed having the kitchen and laundry in room. The jet tub was excellent also, with the spacious bathroom.

Checking in an hour late - room was not ready at time stated for checking in

Check in was supposed to be at 4pm and we were told they were "running late and it could be an hour and they would call when room was ready" Well at 5:15 no call yet and I went to office and they said oh sorry - your room is ready now. Poor communication. Secondly the furniture is very uncomfortable - our backs both hurt from the bed and the loveseat and chair were uncomfortable. Looks are deceiving!!!!

The room was ok.There was hair in the sinks, sheets, and tub. The hair dryer never worked. The dryer took three times to dry one load, even after taking out clothes bc we thought it was to much. The front desk area had an odd smell to it. The pools were absolutely disgusting. There was trash everywhere and the first day we were there it looked like throw up in one of the pools. The water was also very cloudy. It is so crowded that we wouldn’t let our kids swim in it because all of the teenagers who were unsupervised kept jumping over them and they almost got hit twice.

The mattresses were quite comfortable. The TV was easy to operate, The front desk was helpful answering all of our questions. The furnishings and everything was clean. We enjoyed this little getaway.

Great spacious condo

Great location in North Myrtle Beach. Parking deck is next door. It's tight corners for turning as every pillar had scratches on them. Backing in is much easier to get out. The outside looks outdated but the inside of the hotel is modern. Several pools and hot tubs on site. Direct beach access. The room was nice. It had a separate bedroom from the living room area. The balcony was very large with a great direct view of the beach. The murphy bed linens were in the bedroom. There was a pull out sofa, 2 chairs, and a breakfast table. Full sized fridge, microwave, stove, and flatware, glasses, plates available. The beds were older but still very comfortable.

Excellent Trip

Our stay was great. Sunrises from the balcony can not be beat. Room was clean and provided everything we needed for the stay. Front desk personnel were friendly and always helpful. Garlic cheese curds from Sand Trap are highly recommended! We will be back!!

Loved it!

The room was super clean, well-equipped, and the view could not have been better. Front desk was friendly and responsive, even when really busy. I lost count of how many pools they have on site. It's also walking distance (if you're a walker...) from Duplin Winery (2.2 miles) and Barefoot Landing (behind Duplin).

Wonderful Stay

Bay Watch 1114 turned out to be the perfect place for our much needed getaway in July 2022. I especially loved having a separate bedroom with 2 beds an the Murphy Bed in the main area. My adult son stayed in the bedroom...he had his own TV and was able to hook up his gaming system while leaving me to my privacy in the main room...and did I say I LOVED the Murphy bed? It was so so comfortable. We spent hours on the beach, time in the hot tub, and time in one of the pools. We snacked and played and pool and listened to music at Fish Tails on the first floor without even having to leave the premises. But when we did leave the premises, everything we could ever want to do at the beach was within a 5 miles driving distance. We will Definitely be staying at this location again..HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The Pro’s and the Con’s

Pro’s: 1. Wonderful view of the ocean. 2. Easy access to the beach 3 Overall the unit was clean Cons: Facility is in dire need of updates. Bedroom window frame and exterior door frame was corroded with rust. Indoor water facilities looked very dingy and dated! Cafe in checkin lobby coffee tasted like 3 days of marinated A$H! I recommend this establishment for the travelers that are simply looking for a clean bed to sleep in as you have planned activities outside or apart from the condos advertised.

Horrible customer service

Nightshift Karen. She absolutely is the pit fall of this establishment. She was so rude, unhelpful and down right disrespectful. When we first arrived everything was great room was great! Our second night however we were abruptly awoken by our fire alarm. We went down stairs and told the staff our alarm was going off. They sent maintenance to "check it". They never came to our room. We were then woken up multiple times by the alarm going off and again walked down stairs in the middle of the night and we were told maintenance was not available and that we would have to ignore the situation of our alarm going off every 30-45 mins. Then instead of offering to move us or figure anything else out she rudely told us to "go change the batteries". All of our party is under 5' 2" so we couldn't reach the alarm system that was out of our reach even with a chair. We felt very strongly that we couldn't sleep through an obnoxiously loud fire alarm all night and that it was a fire hazard for us to "ignore" a fire alarm because heaven forbid we did so and the building was on fire we would have brushed it off as a faulty alarm. Only after going rounds for more than 2 hours over this ordeal did Karen agree to move us to a different room at 1:30AM! We are NOT hard to please people we really just wanted to feel safe and be able to sleep in the room we paid for. I would not go back if Karen was expected to be working during my trip.

Worst experience

This hotel ran out of towels, the elevators stop working we had to walk down 11 flights of stairs until they fix the elevators. We ran out of toilet paper and they told us we had to buy our own if we used those 2 rolls up. The washer and dryer in the room didn’t work. We had to dump our own trash it was not good at all they didn’t even try to give a discount.

Clean, updated condo!

The condo was perfect for our brief visit. Clean, roomy, beautiful beachfront view. I would stay at Bay Watch again, but would ask for a unit with a walk-in shower accommodation. The large jacuzzi tub/shower was difficult to step into for a shower if you have mobility issues. Also, maybe a lower floor for better balcony time. Those are just personal preferences, absolutely nothing wrong with this condo. It was very nice!!
