Welcome to Paradise Found at North Pointe Condominiums in the beautiful Cayman Kai / Rum Point area of Grand Cayman Island. Paradise Found is a beautiful oceanfront condo located on the quiet North Side of Grand Cayman. Paradise Found offers a Tropical Vacation with some of the best Scuba Diving and Snorkeling in the Caribbean.

Don’t be fooled by claims of “Ocean Front” or “Ocean Views”. Many of the condo rentals in the Rum Point and Cayman Kai area are on the inland side of the island and water views are of the inland sound. You won’t find the waves crashing the shore here or the tropical breeze that blows constantly from the ocean side. Paradise Found is truly ocean front. See our photo gallery for views from the condo. The ocean views are spectacular from all rooms of the condo.

Highlights:

Paradise Found Condo is one of only ten units in the complex and is a second floor end unit which allows for spectacular long range ocean views.

You can enjoy the oceanfront pool and just relax or take long walks on the white sand beach.

This property is perfect for snorkeling just off the beach over coral formations with its beautiful colors, tropical fish, conch and lobster. There are many dive sites on the North Side to accommodate your diving pleasures. Sting Ray City is only a 10-minute boat ride away where you can dive and hand feed the stingrays. Dive the Cayman Barrier Reef, which is only a few hundred yards from your doorstep. This wall dive is one of the most spectacular dives in all the Caribbean. We recommend Ocean Frontiers Dive Shop to dive these sites.

Our 2nd floor, End Unit, 1250 square feet and accommodates up to 5 guests. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Both bedrooms have ocean views with sliding glass doors opening to an open-air lanai with yet another beautiful ocean view. The condo has central air, ceiling fans throughout, beach front pool, screened lanai, wireless internet, cable TV, CD stereo, dish washer, washer/dryer, BBQ, linens, towels and complete kitchen with full size refrigerator and freezer with ice maker, blender, toaster, coffee maker and microwave. The kitchen has beautiful granite counter tops throughout. The living room has ocean views with vaulted ceilings and opens to the screened lanai with an outdoor dining table. The ocean views are breathtaking from about every room in the condo.

Rum Point is a popular beach destination and just down the street. Activities here include a beach bar and restaurants, jet ski & sail boat rentals, as well as other water toys.

Nearby Oceanfront restaurants include Tukka, Over The Edge, Kaibo, Vivine's Kitchen, and The Italian Kitchen.

Superb location on Grand Cayman North Shore!Condo was spacious and very comfortable for two couples, with two ocean view bedrooms each with adjoining bathrooms. There is an indoor dining table and an enclosed patio dining area where we ate most meals overlooking the shore and enjoying the ocean breeze. The beautiful pool area has a shaded area and hose to rinse off snorkeling gear.The host, Jack, was quick to respond to questions and provided excellent advice on restaurants, excursions & grocery shopping.We highly recommend, especially if you like the quieter side of the island!!!

This is a perfect condo if you are staying on the Northside. Just the right size with all the amenities you could need. The property is very well maintained…condos, pool cleaned almost every day, the beach gets cleaned, and all is in very good shape. We stayed one month. If you are looking for quieter and serene, and not the business of Georgetown and Seven Mile Beach…this is perfect!! A real plus is the little grocery store (Chisholms) about 3 minutes from the condo…for its size you could supply most, if not all, things right there…and it is the only grocery store open on Sundays…on the whole island.We will definitely keep this gem on our list for possible vacation locations.

Perfect location for a perfect, quiet week! The condo was roomy and had everything we needed. The beach was amazing, and we almost always had it to ourselves. The reef is just 100 yards out and full of fish at under 2 meters deep. Bring life jackets of buoys though as the current can get strong when the waves are high. The mastic trail is just down the road and on it we saw most of the island’s special birds including the Cayman parrots. Also saw the blue iguanas on the trail. I highly recommend this Vrbo, the hosts were on point and I’d go again in a heart beat.

Excellent Stay on the North Side

This condo provided everything we required for an excellent family vacation. The photographs are very accurate and we loved the screened in deck/patio. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking. I would suggest getting plastic wrap or foil to store food if you're going to do a lot of cooking. The hosts were correct about needing water shoes as the beach is rocky with sandy spots. We absolutely loved the location! It's a few minutes from Rum Point and very quiet and safe. We don't like the loud crowds and busy beaches found on SMB. The hosts were very responsive and lovely to deal with. We were so sad to leave and can't wait to return!

Warm time in Paradise

We enjoyed the ocean. Rented kayaks, did snorkelling. Ate twice at Rum Point. Not a lot of restaurants nearby. All food was delicious though. A really lovely relaxing week.

Great stay!

Everything was perfect about the condo! The screened in porch was the best part (other than beach and pool of course). We loved Grand Cayman and the north side is nice and relaxing. We enjoyed chisholm’s grocery, Tukka restaurant, the rum point restaurant area, stingray city and more! Jack and Lynn were very nice and answered all questions quickly! We met some great neighbors while staying at the condo as well (like a community feeling). We can’t wait to come back next time! Bring water shoes as the beach is rocky would be my suggestion for people coming to this area. Thanks for the great stay!

Absoutely amazing

Our stay was wonderful. The condo was very clean and had all the ammenities to make it feel like home. The biggest plus was the view of the ocean from the screened lanai where we enjoyed having coffee each morning and the ocean breeze in the evening. Will miss the early walks on the beach which you can walk a long way with only meeting a couple or two. From the pool to the beach is just a few steps away. No need to get up early to save a pool chair as there are plenty. Rum Point is just a few miles away. Saw a few stingrays in the water when walking on the pier. Also enjoyed seeing the star fish. We truly enjoyed our stay at Paradise Found and the hosts, Jack and Lynn thought of everything to make our vacation truly memorable. Highly recommend.

Fabulous place to stay!

We were very happy with this condo … very nice pool area, lovely (and large) lanai and easy access to a walkable beach. While our GPS experienced some difficulty getting us there, the destination was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation spot. Beds were comfortable and the condo had everything we needed. Strongly suggest stopping at a grocery store before driving to Rum Point, where small convenience stores are expensive. Worth noting major grocery stores also closed on Sunday.

Great Views

We enjoyed our stay at this spotless condo. Both bedrooms have water views, comfortable mattresses and nice hot showers. We had several meals on the large screened in porch overlooking the water. Parking was easy. Location was nice and quiet and only 5 minutes from Rum Point, which has a nice vibe. There is a good restaurant, snorkeling and access to enjoyable boat excursions.Thank you Jack and Lynn for a great experience.

Beautiful place with amazing views!!

Beautiful place! It was comfortable, clean and spacious. The condo was stocked with everything we needed. Very detailed. The north side of the island has a consistent breeze, it was so enjoyable on the lanai in the evenings. Our family enjoys scuba-diving, and snorkeling, so this was a perfect retreat! We stayed six nights. We rented a car and explored different parts of the island daily. It's very close to Rum point and we were able to go to Starr Fish point in the early mornings before the tour boats came. We definitely recommend going early, you practically get the area to yourself. We spent one day at Spotts beach, definitely worth exploring with snorkel gear. Got to see a few sea turtles there in the nursing area. Spent one day at seven mile beach (Governors Beach parking) The condo comes with large coolers so you can pack your lunch for the day. We didn't take beach chairs, but we just use towels on the sand. The condo was a perfect place for homebase as we explore the island with some scuba diving excursions. We were there over Christmas break, and didn't realize that the restaurants that stay open for Christmas take reservations months in advance and were all booked up. We ended up getting food the day before at the grocery store and cooked our own meals for Christmas. If you do plan to come over Christmas, it would be worth making dinner reservations ahead of time. We liked Tukka east end and Kaibo at Rum point. It was a great retreat! Thank you!

2 Weeks in Paradise

We just came back from 2 weeks at Paradise Found condo. It was our 3rd trip...1st for our friends...and couldn't be happier with our choice of places to stay. Before travel, Jack was always quick to respond to my questions, and while we were there, Jennifer was lovely and responded quickly to our needs. The condo is clean and spacious...perfect for two couples. The main area is clean, spacious and comfortable with notes for how to use or find anything. Note that while the 2nd bathroom is not technically an ensuite, it has a cheater door from the bedroom, so you can access it directly from the bedroom or from the living room, so it is like having an ensuite from each bedroom. The ocean view from the screened in lanai is amazing. Its a great location if you plan on taking any excursions....pick ups are 5 min away at Rum Point. Although about 45 min from Georgetown, and we made the drive there and through to the West side a few times, we really enjoyed the quiet and convenience of the North side condo. Restaurants and grocery store within minutes from the condo only adds to the convenience of the location. If i had one suggestion, it would be to change the mattresses or add a thick matress pad/ topper. They could both use a little upgrade. We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again. Relaxing - Just What The Doctor Ordered

Stay was pleasant. Went for rest, relaxation & a little adventure. Very relaxing area steps away from the beach. Found a beautiful coral garden about 100 yards out. Close enough to Rum Point to enjoy but far enough out (a few kilometers) to relax in the evenings with minimal exposure to others.on the afternoon of arrival, i went straight down to a beach chaise lounge & didnt see anyone for 3 hours while soaking up sun & watching the ocean. One minor issue: There was a large water spot on the floor between the living & dining area which didn't appear to have been mopped during cleanup. Other than that, beautiful view, relaxing & adventurous. Close by are; Rum Point (Starfish Point just down the road). Geat place to meet people & enjoy the beach. Free access with lounges, umbrellas, & lots of water sports. Queen Elizabeth Garden (check out the blue iguanas) Cave Exploration Shortest of all boat trips to Stingray City & snorkeling. Not many restaurants near, except Rumpoint, but enjoyed venturing out to other restaurants. Check out Czech Bar and Grill (don't let appearance fool you). Rum Point has good food, too. South side of island; 7 Mile Beach (not as impressive as expected and cost 3X+ for accomodations. Camana Bay Lovely area, lots of restaurants, shopping & live music West end of island had some good restaurants. Drove around the island multiple times without having to fill up on gas. Great experience. Will likely return. South to mingle. North to relax.

Wonderful north side location on the water. Snorkeling out the back door is the feature we most enjoyed. Easy access to restaurants and other beaches too. Very quiet and respectful neighbors in the complex - just a great place to stay!!

North Pointe Who Knew?

Loved this side of Cayman, quiet but food and bars were drivable, beach was beautiful just wear water shoes, shore was walkable for 2km. Nice touch pan to rinse your feet by door. Size of the condo and layout was great each room had an ocean view and access to the lanai. Breeze was amazing throughout the condo. Jenn was great and answered all our questions location felt very safe. We would definitely stay again.
