We booked to stay at the Nagâs Head entirely by chance because it is 5 miles or so from the place where we were going to pick up our new puppy! After a 5 hour drive from Newcastle the pub staff gave a friendly welcome. We were so glad that we hadnât stopped to eat. Turns out this is a Gastro pub without the Gastro prices. Incredible food and array of beers. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was also amazing. Fantastic staff, little gem of a village pub.
Lovely food, great service. Room was clean, thankfully had a fan in the room as it was such a hot day/night. Very quiet in the respect of pub noise, couldn't be heard. Unfortunately there is a very noisy extractor fan, but that did get turned off at around 10.30. But it was back on at 6.30 this morning. Breakfast was really nice. Little water bottles in the room nice touch, but cold ones would be better. Perfect poached eggs.
Everything was lovely. The staff the food very secure parking( came on motorcycle)
Great pub good selection of beers.
Only fault was roome very hot, positioned over the kitchen. Put it down to hot weather, but then next day it rained and temp dropped but not in room.
Very friendly staff.
Good location, comfortable bed. The room had everything you need. And it was cleaned and my tea and buscuit station was replenished between the two nights.
The breakfast was to die for and the food in the restaurant was very tasty
Stayed here for 3 nights whilst working in the area. The room was clean with en suite bathroom. Great food on an evening and breakfast. Can fault the staff, very friendly. Limited parking to the rear and over the road.
Lovely very modern looking place, very tidy & good sized room & bathroom & although I had to leave before trying breakfast the menu & choices looked good.
