Nice hotel in a great location, however our room on the sixth floor was right below the fitness center so we were woken up every morning at 0700 by loud bangs as people dropped weights and ran on the treadmill.

Excellent hotel! Clean tidy comfortable and well located. I arrived late at night and the lovely lady in reception was kind and helpful. Also explained that due to the hotel being fully booked my room had been upgrade (this was a lovely touch) The room was fab large bathroom and very comfy bed and bedding. The bed was actually made as well. I have found over the years german hotels leave the quilt folded at the bottom of the bed and 2 singles for a double bed. Breakfast was nice althougj did lack bacon and sausages! But the fresh made waffle iron was great, the make your own fruit juice was good as well. Seating was plentiful and staff very attenive. A short walk over (through) the old city wall and you ate very quickly at the altstadt markt

I stayed at the Scandic Hotel twice for a total of almost two weeks and both stays were excellent. The rooms are modern, very clean, and completely soundproof, even on the street side I didn’t hear any traffic. The daily breakfast buffet was great with plenty of fresh choices, and the staff at both the front desk and the buffet were genuinely kind and attentive. I especially want to mention Augustine at the front desk, he is the man. Such a kind and caring young man who went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. I was in Nürnberg for my mother’s funeral and the staff understood right away when I asked for a quiet section at breakfast. That level of compassion meant a lot. The wellness area was another highlight. The pool was clean and relaxing, and the two different saunas were a much needed treat after long days. Overall this hotel exceeded my expectations in comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it.

It was so nice to have such a comfortable bed with traditional linens, meaning a large blanket instead of those single folded blankets that have some sort of synthetic filler that make you overheat while sleeping.

This hotel is probably one of the best to around the Nuremberg area. It's is right across from the Nuremberg old town with just a street crossing away. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and thing to do around the areas. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city of Nuremberg. It's is also a 4 minute walk from the Main Nuremberg Train station.
