Plenty of room for our family of 4 adults and a 5 year old. We were concerned about pool safety, but both back doors had multiple locks and I had to stretch to reach the top one! There were pool floats/toys, etc. There were also chairs for the beach.The kitchen was very well stocked, the only thing I didn’t see was a pizza cutter (we just used a knife) and an electric skillet (used two regular skillets). Plenty of storage in entire house. The converted garage/game room was handy to keep our grandson busy while we cooked or did laundry. Plenty of parking on a quiet street.Not really walking to beach location, but it worked fine for us. It would be about 10 blocks, doable for some, but with beach chairs, etc. we just drove.We would rent again!

Pet-friendly, family friendly, well layed out floor plan, great rooms, quiet, serene neighborhood. We have a fanstastic workcation, with our adult son, who enjoyed the pool, and playing poker with the locals.Great home. We really enjoyed the game selection.

Clean and Comfortable

Lovely house with game room and huge pool. Short drive to beach which was beautiful. Kitchen with huge island. We bought Roku for bedrooms due to easier to operate. The beds are really high so may need stool to climb into if elderly like us. We laughed so hard getting into bed. This is a wonderful safe neighborhood that is Pet friendly.

Loved it!

My husband and I loved our stay here at Sunny Daze. We brought our dogs. It’s so clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is so quiet, we were so relaxed. We sat in the sun room with coffee in the mornings, then hit the beach then came back to enjoy the sun deck and pool the rest of the day. The house is so spacious, huge eat in kitchen, large separate dining room, 3 good sized bed rooms, 2 full baths, living room, sun room, game room, and fenced yard with sun deck and in ground salt water pool. I am in love with this place!! We will definitely be back!

Tranquil and Spacious

We had a great time staying at Sunny Daze. The pool was extremely pleasant and the interior space was spacious, so we didn't feel packed in on top of each other. The converted garage -- the game room -- was a nice touch as well, adding some fun when you wanted to do more than relax. The beach is not really in walking distance for most people, but the drive there is maybe 4 minutes, so not far. The only thing I had any real trouble with during my stay was the persistent laundry smell lingering on all the bedsheets and pillows. The intense smell gave me headaches and made it hard to sleep well. Others, admittedly, are not as sensitive to these smells as me, however. Overall, a great place to stay and I recommend it.

The home was very spacious and we loved the pool area and game room. The house could have been cleaner and the home needs rugs. Also for a week we got one towel and one wash cloth each. I ended up buying more towels and wash cloths at Walmart

Enjoyed the pool

We enjoyed our stay the pool was nice. Some of the rooms were dusty and had cobwebs in the corners. Also dog hair was on the base boards of the beds. One of my kids crawled under a bed to get something and so much dust was under it he was covered. We had plenty of room and we enjoyed the game room .

Great family fun

We loved our family week long stay here. We appreciate so much that the property is dog friendly. The game room and pool were crowd pleasers, especially with 6 teen boys. House was clean and as described. Plenty big for all 8 of us. Quick 5 min drive to the beach with plenty of paid parking available. Would definitely come back!

Family Beach Vacay 2024

Out of all the beach vacations we've taken this was by far our favorite. This house had everything we needed and it was very clean and open. The game room was an added bonus especially when you can win against your adult children 😁 It was so easy to find restaurants and stores nearby and the beach is just a short drive. We've always stayed in beachfront houses before but hope to come back to this house in Oak Island. If you ever have any questions or concerns they will be answered right away. All in all, I would recommend this house to anybody.

Sunny Daze delivers!

This home was just as described--recently renovated, nice furnishings in excellent condition, comfortable beds, tile and luxury vinyl plank floors, great game room conversion of the garage and sparkling full size POOL. And pet friendly to boot. Nice residential street, very quiet and walkable. It was just the 2 of us but this home is spacious and very well set up to host a larger group.

Clean and Beautiful Getaway

Stayed for a week with my partner and 2 dogs. Communication with the property manager was hassle free and he was very nice when I called to pay my pet fee. House was beautiful and well maintained. The welcome package with the granola was much appreciated. The front patio area was where we spent most of our time reading and hanging out. The property and the surrounding area is electric car friendly, so that was a plus. I would stay here again.

Perfect vacation spot

The home was exactly as presented. The rooms are large, house was clean, perfect for our guest and our fur babies. Loved the pool, which is where we spent the afternoons when it was too humid for the beach. I highly recommend this home.
