Arrived to Motel 6, and the lobby was closed for over 30 min. There was one person standing in line. Once the solo staff member returned to the lobby, he proceeding to help the gentlemen standing in line. Staff handing this gentlemen some forms and the gentlemen left the window to return to his car. I was next in line and proceeded to the window. The Staff member said, I can’t help you until the gentlemen comes back so if you don’t mind waiting. I said sure. The gentlemen returned and was assisted and he left to his assigned room. I then went back up to the window and began my check-in process. I too was handed forms to fill out which included my vehicle information. I left the window to retrieve the info and then returned back to the window. The same Solo Staff told me, I had to wait in line and the he was helping another person and because I left, it was no longer my turn to be served. I was PERPLEXED !!! I said to this Staff member, I said wait a minute, you allowed the guy standing in front of me, the opportunity to return to the window, after leaving, without losing his place in line so, what’s the deal. This Staff member huffed and puffed and damn near blew my house down! I have NEVER received such piss poor hospitality that was exceedingly unprofessional and down right RUDE. A person standing behind me was watching all this unfold and said “ I never leave reviews but I’m definitely leaving one after seeing how you were treated”!

Only 1 person staffs the office, and he was constantly going on break and making people wait. This is ridiculous for a hotel of this size when people are checking in constantly. When I arrived the sign said Back in 15 minutes.There were 3 parties that needed to check in, so I waited an unacceptably long time which made me late for my event nearby. The room I was assigned hadn't been cleaned, so I immediately went back to the office only to find a new sign up saying Back in 30 minutes! I banged on the window and the guy finally came to help me, but he complained that he wasn't getting paid to help me because it was his lunch break. That's not my problem. While waiting I saw a young lady in a very short skirt, thong underwear, and high heels saunter across the parking lot heading for one of the rooms. It's that kind of neighborhood. Most of the other guests I saw there looked very sad and beaten down by life, as though this was their last stop before homelessness. The new room I was given had a broken AC unit; all the buttons were busted out so I couldn't turn it on. The location is excellent and the view on the water is magnificent, but the hotel itself is a disaster.

I'm not sure why this motel rates so high. The rooms always smell bad from people smoking in them, everything is terribly worn down. It's not very nice at all.

Good area with a great view of the boats and pier. The service was very friendly. The room however is worse for wear. You get what you pay for. The toilet seat was broken, the room smelled of smoke, the bed was dented from the middle. Floors were dirty. House keepers were super nice though. Area is in a safe side of town and as a single female I felt safe.

The rooms are old and smell. The refrigerator didn’t work, The air didn’t work neither did the TV for the little time we were there. Upon check in the staff was extremely nice.. the next day I asked a lady if we could get brochures from the lobby since it’s always locked and she told me NO .. people were loud at all hours .. it seemed more like a hang out spot than a resting place but you get what you pay for..

The staff I met upon arrival was very kind. However, the area surrounding the property made me feel unsafe. I didn’t end up spending the night because of this, but I could tell that they do their best with the property, all things considering.

Absolutely not. We didn't even spend the night, we left and found a different hotel. Sketchy, stinky, unsafe, never again Hotel 6.

The room was clean and super basic. NO REFRIGERATOR OR MICROWAVE. NO HAIR DRYER AND NO COFFEE POT. Split AC unit worked but was super loud. The staff was professional but not super friendly. Parking was far from the room and the parking lot was extremely dirty with litter and garbage lying on the ground. Most areas of parkingvlot were dark and did not feel safe. Felt that at $120 a night the room should of come with some basic amenities such as a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and haur dryer. There were 2 bars of soap near the sink, but NO shampoo and conditioner. Luckily I had packed my own!! Very very basic room. Good for 1 night. Bed was rock hard. 2 small pillows provided. I will look elsewhere next time for accommodations.
