Great stay for parents weekend. We had a two queen bed suite and it was great to have a kitchen and office space to host our college kid. It felt more like a home than a hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

The bed was incredible and the room was so sound proof I could watch the construction across the street and never hear it. The staff were all top notch. I will stay here every time I go to Berkeley.

I had a fantastic stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Berkele! The location was extremely convenient and just a short walk to Edwards Stadium, which made it perfect for catching a Cal Women’s Soccer game. Go Bears! 🐻⚽ The front desk staff were welcoming and professional, making check-in and any questions throughout the stay a breeze. I also really appreciated the team in the dining room. They were friendly and attentive, helping start each day off right. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Berkeley, especially if you're here to support Cal Athletics!

Valet parking only

We drove our spare car and it’s pretty old. A BMW pulled up and the guy was getting everything out of the trunk, putting it on the luggage carrier and completely helping the people. We pull up, we’re not greeted, we have to walk up to the valet and ask them if there’s other parking since they were ignoring us. My husband went and checked in and he had to get everything out of the car himself no offer of help. Another car pulled up, a Lexus, and they were helped very fast as well. People were being helped based on the car they had. Husband gave them the key and we came to our room. The funny thing is we would’ve tipped. And because we drove my husband’s crappy car, we got crappy service from the valet. The room is amazing. The front desk staff was amazing.
