the hotel is spotless. Good friendly desk service. You get a tiny room with good bed. Very easy to get a taxi in the street outside. 4 blocks from Zocalo. Want to save money? this is it.
The staff was very friendly and helpful which really made me enjoy my stay even more. It was also near two supermarkets which made things more convenient.
A great room in Centro! The bed was very comfortable and we loved being able to watch the street around the market from the balcony and the rooftop terrace. The staff was friendly and housekeeping did an excellent job every day. The hotel is in a very convenient location, we were able to walk basically everywhere we wanted to go in Oaxaca City.
The hotel is clean and the staff is welcoming and friendly. The room is on the small side, but still enough space for your belongings to be spread out. It's pretty quiet at night, always felt safe. It's walking distance to everything!
The cleaning staff was very nice and friendly. However the front desk receptionist wasnât as friendly and accommodating as one would hope coming from the airport with 2 luggagesâ.
The location of the hotel is great if you like to eat in mercados. The Mercado 20 de Noviembre is right across the street. The room is small but very clean. Abundant hot water. The bar next door makes for noisy evenings especially if you are near the front of the hotel.
I have stayed twice. Once before Covid and just now again. The place was updated some. It could use fresh paint in areas like stairwells. The beds were hard. It was quiet and the roof top patio is great. The location is super and front desk staff very helpful.
liked the location which was across the street from the famous mercado of meats. you just walk outside the hotel and take 30 steps and you are there at the mercado.
what sucks is that next door is a bar and they stay up late in till the night , playing loud music till the sun comes up.
The room was not what we expected. The TV and lights didnât work in the main room. Hotel was noisy and had to close the windows which made the room sweltering hot. The only positive thing was the location near the markets.
Internet never worked and TV didnât work either. Very noisy in the morning and evening. Lots of mosquitoes in the room. Good location in front of Mercado de Comidas. Basic hotel. Nothing fancy.
I could stand straight up in only a couple of places in the room. I had to bend over in several places....in the room, going into the bathroom, using the toilet and the shower. I'm 6'5" - tall, but not crazy tall. I mentioned it to the young man at the front desk - he smiled and shrugged his shoulders. I've stayed there in the past without issue. Not again.
The rooms are very small with no window. The fan did not work so they gave me a portable fan that had to blow right on you to feel it. Very stuffy. This is a typical $10 a night room that they charged me $44 per night. Very bad value
I got there at around 9pm, there was a bar next door with loud music. nowhere to get food, the nice girl at the reception told me about a taco stand 2 or 3 blocks away. Tacos were not that good but I was hungry, neighborhood was ok. Room was small and clean, took a while for hot water to come out of the shower. Bed was ok, left early (4am) because of a flight and the taxi was already waiting for me.
