This place was perfect for my 1 night stay while I watched friends show at the World Equestrian Center. It was clean & had everything I needed. I grew up on a gravel road so that did not bother me. The compost toilet was clean & had instructions. Also, this may not be a big deal but it made me happy that there were dairy free creamers for the coffee because I am lactose intolerant. If I come back to watch a horse show I will stay again! Also this
Ovedale fit my needs perfectly! It was a pleasant 3 day stay within a beautifully landscaped property. So peaceful, safe and clean. There was a grocery store about 4 miles away. I wasnât a fan of the compost toilet but I signed up knowing that. It was so much more fun than staying in a hotel.
The property was great and exactly as described. Very clean, quaint and relaxing. The grounds were also very pretty and my daughter and I really enjoyed sitting outside listening to nature. Great communication. I would highly recommend.
The property is beautiful and well maintained. Having a dedicated parking spot out front of the cabin enhanced the idea you had your own space. The cabinn was clean and very well outfitted (all you needed to have a comfortable stay) with a decor that was inviting and fit the area. Our focus was to be at WEC and being only minutes away was perfect! We look forward to booking this property again! Thank you to our fabulous hosts!
My sister and I were there to watch my granddaughterâs competition over the weekend. We were not a fan of the cassette toilet, nor the sleeping area in the loft reachable by a ladder. Would be perfect for younger people, not 70 year olds unless it was a single as there is a downstairs sleeping area for 1. The location was excellent and the property was very nice.
I never heard from the property regarding check-in until 2.5 hours after check in and I had to book another place last minute. I am also having a terrible time trying to get a refund.
I stayed for one night while at an equestrian event in Ocala. Affordable accommodations are increasingly rare since World Equestrian Center opened. This is a really charming place. Yes, it's small, but the owner has taken great care to make it cozy and welcoming. I am booking this week for another stay in March.
So I needed a quick overnight stay close to where I was boarding my new horse. Ovedale was good; when I drove over I was a little worried about the "dirt roads" and passed a few questionable homesteads (just a little downscale). But when I reached Mr. Kind's place I immediately recognized the quality and attention to detail. It was perfect for what I needed. If you are looking have a quick stay in Ocala near WEC this is a good place. (And I'm a VRBO Premier Host)!
This property was perfect for what I needed. I was there for 8 nights. It was close to the venue where I was attending a conference. The house was clean and comfortable. Kevin was there to greet me and answer any questions I had. Since Iâm a âsenior â I chose to sleep on the daybed which was very comfortable. There are 3 beds in the loft but the ladder up and down was a bit formidable to me. All in all this was exactly what I expected.
The cabin was cozy and very comfortable. The owner welcomed us not along after we arrived he was very helpful and welcoming. The property is very beautiful. Would definitely stay there again
Myself, my spouse, and our 3 kids (ages 10, 12, and 17) stayed for one night. We all loved this cottage/cabin!! There are two queen sized beds in the loft and a daybed downstairs so we all fit and slept with plenty of room for us all. Our 12 year old decided we need 4 of these for us all to stay in. Lol. The kitchen had everything we needed to have meals there. It was close to Rainbow Springs. We even had a bonfire! I love the little touches and even the compost toilet became a part of our conversation. I would absolutely stay here again!
What an awesome stay! Kids are 5 and 3 and they absolutely loved staying up in the lofted beds. The space is small but very functional and looks great. Beds are comfy. We enjoyed the fire pit and eating dinner on the patio. Host was very responsive and accommodating and gave some great recommendations. A really cool experience and we would definitely stay again. Thanks!!
My standard poodle and I spent one night here. The pond with a water feature and the grounds are beautifully landscaped.
I had my coffee in the morning enjoying the roosters crowing.
The location was a little hard for me and a friend to find but once we figured out where it was there was no issues with anything! The compost toilet fills up after about 4 days so if youâre planning to spend some time in the cabin just be aware of that. Kevin was amazing and was very easy to get in contact with and the property is amazing! I would recommend no more than 3-4 adults plus baggage just because it is a smaller space but for me and 1 person it was perfection!!
