You get what you pay for. If you want a budget motel ($100 or less) that has nice, new beds, clean linens and a clean room then this motel is a good deal. The only things that bothered me were: definitely a musty smell, but hey this is Florida (lots of moisture) and the motel is very old probably built 1950's or earlier; low lying dust that had not been dusted in a while was noticeable on the lower bed frame (where the mattress meets the frame) and standing lamp base. Tub needed to be reglazed and the tub drain was really rusty, kind of gross looking to be honest. The staff were very hospitable.
On a business trip with Good-Doggos.com The hotel is very dated, I love the original tile in the bathroom. Easy check in, nice and clean..I slept very well.
Motel is clean and well maintained. We have stayed there several times. It would be nice to have a coffee maker. The road outside is very noisy all night. Staff are friendly.
This property is maintained on a high level.
So squeaky clean.
Traffic was quiet until regular daily workers were at work. It then quieted back to normal.
Check in went very smoothly & the man was very polite.
Well worth it to have a good night's sleep.
The owners of the property let us check in extremely early and made sure the room was ready and treated us like we were his only customers even though his hotel was full.
It was a cute, inexpensive, and clean place to stay in Ocala. It was close to where I was going to watch my grandson, who was in a trail bike race at the Santos Trailhead. Unfortunately, I left an item in my room.. When I called the motel, they stated they had my item and would hold it until I returned to get it.
I highly recommend this motel!
