Don't waster your time or money coming here. Online they show you the nice pictures of the beach and bar but they don't show you the outdated rooms.My room was considered the city view. When I looked out the window I saw a dirty diaper on top of the roof. The rooms were clean. The bathroom shower curtain had spots on it, it looked like mold. The bathroom door had dirt spots on it which clearly housekeeping did a poor cleaning job. My first night there, two young ladies were arguing down the hall from my room. The cursing, yelling and screaming interrupted my sleep. The air unit in the room made noises all night. This place reminded me of a Pet Smart with dogs everywhere. My stay was horrible. I usually stay at the Residence Inn when visiting Ocean City. Front Desk had 1 person with a long line. When I checked in, the lady didn't tell me anything about this place as far as where the elevators were, she didn't tell me about the amenities. My stay was not great at all. I will never come here again.

Avoid this place

Overpriced outdoor food & drinks. Kids mac n cheese was terrible. Don’t expect to sit on deck, so small not even 1 chair will fit! Sliding glass door lock broken as well as bathroom lock. Front desk would not issue shower curtain in bathroom with tub with shower curtain rod. Ice machines broken. Non smoking not enforced with pot smoking daily setting off smoke alarm, shutting down elevators when guests were trying to check out. Pool drained so no swimming. Finally pool open but staff began using shop vac inches from pool with guests in. No microwaves in rooms. Housekeeping finally got to clean my room at 6 pm. I would avoid this place till they get their act together. Tv broken staff fixed but broke again. Wondered why front desk never asked our group how their stay was, don’t think wanted to know. Lobby and rooms are updated but so much else needs attention.

I liked the size of the primum king room and king bed. I like how close the property was to everything. I did not like when we checked in multiple people were complaining about there rooms and the staff was very overwhelmed by an event that was going on. I didn't like that we had not water on Sunday when we were getting ready to check out. I spoke with a manager about my concerns and he was not able to provide us with any compensation because we booked through a 3rd party, orbitz. Very frustrating!

Ashore was a nice place to stay. I recommend floors 12 and up for a great view! The only thing keeping me from giving it excellent reviews is 1. No microwave in the room. 2. The ice and vending is sparse and only on a few floors and their appearance needs to be improved. One was actually filled with a puddle. 3. Parking was frustrating. Free parking = people accessing the beach parking there making it hard to find a spot. Valet would be nice.

The staff was incredibly rude and seemed to not care about you as a customer. When checking in, all I got was “credit card” and handed the card to my room. No explanation on what my card was being charged for, even when I asked. I received a text the night before that I could reply back to with questions and concerns, and never got responses back. There was no parking. They had 2 weddings there, so all of the guests took up parking. We had to pay for municipal parking 2/3 nights of our stay and walk to the hotel. It wasn’t fun having a baby to constantly walk a distance. Part of the parking lot was blocked off with cones (at least 15 spots) for no known reason. Housekeeping came to our room between 7am-8am every day to clean. We were still sleeping and got woken up for them to clean. Elevators suck. Don’t even think about getting a head start on the day of checkout. 3 elevators that stop at every floor. When everyone is trying to check out, staff was filling up the elevators to clean empty rooms, leaving no elevator space for people trying to leave. We waited at least 30 minutes for an elevator. Pack your car the night before and just bring yourselves that morning because you won’t fit anything in the elevator with everyone trying to leave. You can’t access the beach or pool easily from the back. You have to go out the front and around the building w/ a wagon. The beach itself was nice, it was nice that umbrellas and chairs were included, and the pool area was clean.

We arrived early with a six-year-old, who was eager to get to the beach. Seeing this, the reservation agent kindly allowed us to check in early, which we truly appreciated. Ashore is an exceptionally clean property with plenty of amenities. It’s set away from the busy boardwalk crowd, yet offers lots of dining options both onsite and nearby. You really can’t go wrong staying here!
