Great Hotel, close to most things

Great hotel, close to everything but the boardwalk. We don’t even venture to the boardwalk and barely used the car, everything was so close. Right on the beach with an indoor pool. The elevators were VERY slow, in the hotel and the parking garage, painfully slow. We had ocean view rooms, the balcony was small, but big enough for two people to sit. I would not recommend getting a room poolside, it was always loud 10am-10pm going through there. Nothing terrible, but kids playing and when the weather is bad, they bring the tables in with live music. The restaurants were good, but very expensive - you pay for conscience. Overall, a great stay!

The location of this property is good. We loved the parking availability & being a beach front hotel. Rooms were clean overall but the floor was sandy when we checked in and the room had funky smell. Pool was okay. There were teen boys playing in the pool taking 1/2 of the space which led many people leave (my kid got hit by their ball) but the staff who were standing by the towels didn't acknowledge them to stop. We will probably come back to this hotel for their location

I’ve have visited this hotel for many years. It has always been a pleasant stay. This year, the first thing I was greeted with was a near fist fight between a minor and an adult. I would see this same minor throughout our stay, at one point he was making racist remarks to other guests. I saw a woman abusing her kid and another verbal altercation on the beach. The atmosphere was definitely different and chaotic. I am also not sure why the hotel stopped having the rooms cleaned on a daily basis, but that is also not great. I paid over $2,000 for my short stay and shouldn’t be expected to ask for cleaning. Unless something is done to address some of these issues, I may have to look for other places to stay.

Above average hotel experience. Pros: great location, easy access to the beach, and the rooms have upgraded interiors (we stayed at a family suite). Not to be underrated. Cons: mediocre service at the connected restaurant Schooner's (and the food was also mediocre) and fitness room needs upgrading (old / danky machines).
