Long weekend in OC

This is such a great location, close to everything both north and south. Many great places within walking distance. Beautiful view and sounds of the ocean. We had a minor glitch with linens that the owner resolved quickly.

Great location and balcony. Kitchen lacked basic items (can opener, wine bottle opener, decent pots and pans, extra silverware, extra ice trays. Water was set way to hot (potential burn issue) dishwasher in poor condition. Rugs were dirty and screen doors were terrible. No hooks or towel racks in bathrooms. Appreciate extra paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and shampoos that were provided.

Vacation August 2021

The booking process was very easy. I only wish I had some instructions about the check in. I had to ask a maintenance man about where to park and how to get access to the unit. It would have been helpful to have a text or email before I arrived about how to gain access to the unit. We did have a great week after the initial day. The view from the balcony was beautiful.

There was someone there when we got there and told us our reservation was a mistake when they were actually overstaying their time there. Management was great. Got them out and a woman hustled over to clean, but she had limited supplies and she did the best she could, but even the toilet was moldy around the water line. There were burnt out or missing lightbulbs throughout. The sliding door to the deck is broken and very hard to open and close. The kitchen was fine and it was nice to have a washer and dryer available. We won’t be back to this unit, but loved the location.

The view from the balcony and MasterBR is 'SKIBBIDYLY AMAZING!' (according to my teen).Check in process was a breeze and the management company is quick to respond with answers to questions/issues (like having a senior moment and locking out the keypad with too many incorrect codes).Kitchen is well stocked and the place was very clean. I appreciated the dish/washer/bathroom supplies.The a/c was set at 75 and did take a few hours to cool the unit down, but once down it maintained the desired temp without issue.I was a little disappointed with the one of the full beds (it was slanted, as mentioned in a review from the prior week). I noticed it in the initial post picture and asked the owner, but he said it was replaced.....but it looks as if they moved it from the one closer to the window now closer to the door. My son couldn't sleep on it so he slept on the couch all week, but he said it was comfy and no big deal.The location is great, right off RT 90 and the designated parking space is a HUGE plus.The pool was a tad chilly, but I'm sure would feel great on 90* days, our highs were in the mid-70s.I would definitely stay here again..... but wish the spare bedroom would have those bunk beds that have a twin on top with a queen on the bottom.

Great place

We read the rules to the place and decided we wanted to stay there. We are 100% NON smokers. I was excited because the place was right on the beach, perfect view (and it was!) and non smoking! It even said in the rules “if caught smoking it’s a $500 fee” I was incredibly disappointed when we unlocked the door and opened it, we were HIT HARD with the smell of cigarettes!! No matter how much we tried to clear out the smell it was obvious someone smoked in there. We also found a pair of children’s underwear in the closest and the items left in the closets were just wadded up and thrown. Almost as if the “cleaning crew” didn’t care to do their job. The master bedroom was fantastic! Great bed with a beautiful view!! The doors that slide out to the balcony from both mater bedroom and living room were VERY rough to open so we were cautious when allowing the kids outside as to not run them off the track. The one bed in the kids room was very slanted and almost needed replacing. All those things aside I felt the stay was great!! We enjoyed it very much!! But the cleaning and host fees were too much to be paid since we felt the job wasn’t being done properly or how we would have expected!! The host did however have fabreeze sent to the room since we immediately told him we weren’t the ones who stunk up the room.

Beautiful views, Comfortable accommodations, Great location

We had a wonderful stay at Sandpiper Dunes. The unit is clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. Linens were provided (but bring your own beach towels). We loved having our meals on the balcony and the ease of access to the beach this unit offers. A perfect place for our peaceful retreat.

Great Location

Nice Condo, clean, great view and close to the beach. Also has 7 11 across the street and food options as well within a short walking distance.
