Nice older hotel. Front desk people were very nice and helpful. I was there for Oceans Calling so it wasn't too busy, but it was a good location, especially with the beach a short walk away. My only complaint would be the smoking on the balconies...I couldn't open my patio door without having cigarette smoke wafting into the room - also made it a bit unpleasant to sit out there (I can't stand cig smoke, being a former smoker).
Everything was great about this place from the pool to the spacious room with queen beds and adequate black out curtains. Besides the weird layout of some rooms and the showers water pressure made it take forever hot water for days though.
Nothing big, it's a good place to go. If you're wanting to go to the inlet, you would have about 7 miles each way, but the beach is about a block away, as it faces towards the highway, and there is small road behind it. It's a great place to be
The motel itself was dated as far as the decor but it was extremely clean and the price was reasonable. It is on the ocean block so you can walk to the beach. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants to walk to. Linda in the front office was extremely sweet and helpful. The rooms were big and as I already mentioned, very clean. I would stay again.
