We stayed here for the Country Calling concert in Oct. The location wasn't to far from the Pier, lots of dining options and shopping. The beach was also easy to access. The room was clean and appeared to be recently updated. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.
We booked a room for the Country Calling concert weekend. Prices were definitely increased for the weekend which is fine. The issue was they charged you $50 cash to check in early. That was a bit much. The owner was definitely taking advantage of its guests. With all the hotels in the area because of this I would not stay here again. Bad form Wellington.
Booked at the Wellington for Oceans Calling. It was clean and convenient. No frills but we only needed the room to sleep, shower and store our stuff. The shower was surprisingly modern and had lots of built in racks for soap, etc. The room was ready early before check-in, which was nice. The only downside was the check out being at 10am with zero flexibility for a late check out. Iâd definitely stay there again if Iâm back for Oceans Calling.
We stayed here for the music festival and it was exactly what we needed. The walk down to the pier was only about 10 minutes and was great for when we were tired at the end of the day. The staff was super friendly and house keeping came each day to refresh the room. The room was clean and had a mini fridge which was great for storing our drinks. Since its so close to the boardwalk there was lots of food options as well. Parking was included and even though we got in late the first day, there was still a spot available. It is a beach house so if you can't do stairs, this might not be the place for you but it wasn't a problem for us. Overall would defiantly recommend and plan on coming back next year.
This was an interesting, unusual place. It was exceptionally clean but also spartan and barren. The bathroom was very large. The room with the sofa could have used a TV. Speaking of TV, it was a bit of a throwback to the 90's. The TV itself was HD-capable, but every channel was standard def. There was also no "guide" function on the TV, and no channel lineup card that you used to see in hotel rooms before TVs got smart. Also, there was no wifi in the hotel. First world problems, I guess. It was clean and felt safe, and I would stay there again, but if I planned to be spending much time in the room, I might look around a bit to see what other options are available.
The reviews I read were spot on. This is my first time staying here. Great location, right next to the boardwalk. It was clean and roomy. The air conditioner was noisy but did not keep me from sleeping. I would stay here again.
