This is our 3rd time staying here. Itâs located where we like to be. Itâs simple and comfy. Our most recent stay was a little frustrating because our neighbor had a dog they left in the room and it barked non-stop for a couple of hours. With no in-person manager we just dealt with the frustration. We have a dog as well so we arenât against them staying- just felt sad for the animal left behind.
We used to live in Ocean Shores, but moved away 6 years ago. Back then this was a run down "no tell motel". I was skeptical, but took a chance on believing the photos. We absolutely would book here again. No signs of the no tell motel and tastefully updated.
Pros:
It was clean and an easy process.
Our dog got to stay with us on the beach which was great. Walking access to almost everything in Ocean Shores was a big plus.
Cons:
Everything was a bit outdated. Ventilation in the room wasnât fantastic. They do have a window at the front of your room but that is where all the other rooms are so noise was an issue. The walls are pretty thin so you could hear the music in the room next door. We stayed for two nights and ran out of toilet paper.
Did it work for our needs. Yes. Was it a luxurious stay no.
The room is very clean. The location is great for walking to the beach or driving to another. There are a number of dining options nearby including pizza right next door.
We stayed for 3 nights and greatly enjoyed our room, the location close to all the shops, and access to the beach! Itâs hard to find places that accept bigger dogs as well. We will be back again in the future!
The Salt Water Lagoon was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I liked the hardwood and tile floors. For sandy feet, I left my shoes at the door, Hawaiian style, plus had a mat on the floor for sandy dog paws. The room guide was a nice touch, good restaurant and site seeing recommendations, plus I loved the travel quotes scattered throughout. The entire property was full and busy for October, yet still quiet. My dog and I will be back with smiles.
