This property is fantastic when you have pets and kids with the fenced in back yard! We very much enjoyed our stay. The only issue we ran into was ants in the kitchen. Don’t leave food out and cleanup immediately after cooking so they don’t invade! The street is generally quiet, great for walks with easy access to a gas station and CVS. You are a good distance between Rehobeth and OC, making it the perfect home base for going to all the beaches! Bethany is right up the street, maybe a 5 minute drive. If you have very little children just be advised that the house is older and does creak when walking. If your children are sensitive to sound it may wake them. The deck is great for lounging and eating. Just watch your littles that they don’t take a tumble. A nice fire ring for campfires! If you need fire wood, check out the local store called Hockers. Aisle 6. Overall a great house to stay in. Great location. Just beware the ants! LOL

House was great for our needs. Kitchen had most items we needed. Maybe add a griddle for pancakes. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the back deck in the mornings, and dinner in the evenings. Enjoyed seeing the deer family visit in the field in the back.

good size, comfortable, and for the most part clean. bathrooms are updated. however, i assume the cleaning service does not regularly move the furniture as we found a dirty sock beside/behind the sofa, and a pair of men’s underwear and a half eaten bag of chips beside the bed in the one upstairs bedroom

Another Great Stay

This house was just as good this year as it was when we stayed there last summer. The house is clean, decorated nicely, stocked with things you need and this year they offered sheet service was was lovely. The dogs loved the yard and the AC was a champ since it was unbelievable hot this past week. The owners were responsive, helpful and friendly. The out door shower was incredible and we loved every minute of our stay. No complaints at all!!! Thank you!!!

A Perfect Beach House

Our trip was absolute perfection. The owner was great about responding to all my messages, the house was very clean, tidy & cozy. It was exactly what we needed to celebrate my friends 30th. It was rainy & cold that weekend so we were unable to use the outdoor space, however, we will ABSOLUTELY return once the weather is warmer.

Great Long Weekend in the Off Season

We love Bethany in the summer so wanted to experience the area in the off season. We enjoyed this home, which had a lot of charm and was very clean and comfortable for our family of four (including our girls who are 8 and 6), our moms and our dog, Lola. The yard being fenced in was a huge bonus and the property was centrally located to everything in Ocean View and Bethany.The off season was surprisingly livelier than anticipated and we enjoyed our quiet, relaxing weekend. The owners were very responsive and made it easy to set up the sheets/linen service. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great spot for beach getaway

Our family of four (+ dog) had a wonderful long weekend here. The house was clean inside and out, everything worked well--from WiFI to gas grill in the backyard--and the location was excellent. We did not need much communication because we didn't encounter any issues, but in our limited interactions Rebecca and Ivan were responsive, timely, and pleasant to deal with. We would very gladly stay here again.

Amazing spot if you have dogs

We had a great time with my family and 3 large dogs. It's hard to find a rental that allows 1 dog let along multiple dogs. The fenced in yard was great for the pups, and then to have an additional yard in the back where you can play fetch was super helpful. The house was clean, and comfortable. We had multiple compliments on the comfort of the various mattresses. The renovated bathrooms were great as well. Definitely will rent again during our next beach vacay. Also walking distance from CVS, Royal Farms, and a great ice cream spot.

Good for pets

This property was an ok stay. It was dirty when we arrived, but Tom was very helpful and came back to retouch the areas that needed cleaning. It appears the house doesn't have central AC as it got really hot on the second floor. I was able to bring my dog, and the property is located in a good area.

Conveniently located near restaurants, grocery stores and the beach. The dog yard was a great feature. Entrance to the house was easy and convenient. Lots of parking. Communication with the host was excellent.

Great time

We had a wonderful time during our stay here. The house was wonderful, clean and charming. The outdoor shower was wonderful and the dogs loved the backyard. We enjoyed the deck as well as the front porch and loved all the outside options. It was close to many things yet still felt private when we were at the house. The owners were great and responsive and we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful two weeks!!!!

Great area, good house.

It was a short weekend but we really enjoyed our stay! The house is in a great location, not too close and not too far from the beach and other activities. It was family friendly AND dog friendly which is hard to find. It also had a nice fenced in yard! The house was nice but could use some general and security upgrades. Better locks and lights outside, and bathroom upgrades would really be lovely! We would recommend this house.

Charming Country Home

I loved this house. I would buy it. It is airy with large rooms. It feels like my grandmother's house did. The big yard was perfect for my dog to chase frisbees and balls. This is an older home and very inviting, but if you want new and trendy it may not be for you. We will book again.
