I had a comfortable 1 night stay. Place feels old and makes a bit of noise. It had everything a couple needs to be comfortable. The only thing that could be an issue is noise, the pipes and floors make a lot of noise so you can hear your neighbours if they're awake. New pillows would be nice, mine were a little lumpy, but don't let that discourage you from staying, we still had a great time.

The range hood smelt bad permeating through the room as the range hood filter was full of fat and needs cleaning . Room opposite experienced the same problem it caused the fire alarm to go off when he used the kitchen

Bed was broken on my side. But managed to sleep on it. Internet great. Heating great. No physical contact with staff. Just via intercom at motel front door. Overall a good stay 🙂

Well equipped and compact

Good kitchen with stove and microwave but no microwaveable cooking dishes. Good internet and lighting. Hotel is on main road so some truck noise early in the evening. Close to the National park and shops. Compact room but adequate for a couple.

We were given the accessible room and It was very small. The shower sprayed all over the bathroom cause it only had a curtain and soaked the floor. Bed was saggy on one side and was VERY noisy as it's on the main road.

This was suitable place for a one night stay whilst travelling. Affordable. Little noisy if you were a light sleeper as it’s on the main highway. For us it was very convenient as easy to locate having arrived late at night. Easy access .Clean friendly staff in the morning on departure. Would stay again.

Ohakune is a great little town to spend a night in, plenty nearby Snowhaven. Room was small but sufficient, staff were low touch but efficient, the main issue I had (acknowledging a lot of this is outside of their control due to SH1 being closed at the time and bypassing through Ohakune) was noise related. Slept terribly due to heavy traffic passing by outside and more noticeably the guest in the adjacent room snoring, unfortunately both heard easily in our room.
