We had severe winter weather here and I worked back to back days at the hospital. Decided it would be safer to stay in a hotel close by so I wasnât risking the drive home. Wish I would have just risked the drive honestly. Walked into the lobby to the smell of weed. Night front desk clerk not very friendly. Walked into the room and the chain on the door was not securely attached to the wall. Stains on the sheets, furniture and carpet. No hot water at the vanity sink and only scalding hot water in the shower. It took hours to get the room warm enough to feel comfortable and you could see where multiple holes in walls and doors had been poorly patched. I honestly felt scared being there by myself and blockaded the door and kept my husband on FaceTime with me until I went to bed. Do not recommend.
The clerk discriminated against my daughter whom I booked the room for. They suddenly changed their policy and I had to find an ATM to pay another $50 for the deposit in cash but only after they told my daughter
on the phone that if she paid by card, the deposit would only be $50, not $100. They also said her name wasn't on the reservation. I put her name down as the one staying there. I was forced to go there after work to show them my ID even though when speaking to the manager on the phone, who kept talking over me and wouldn't listen, told me to go through hotels.com to change my reservation. I tried but it wouldn't let me but allowed me to send a message to the property. The manager read my message to me over the phone yet still said that's not good enough. I made a trip there 2 hours later just to give my ID to the rude clerk so my daughter could stay there. We will never use them again and I highly recommend this hotel being removed from hotels.com before you lose your customers.
