Stay in Omaha

The property was updated and nice. Everything worked as stated. It is a location with easy access to go most places in Omaha. We went all over and nothing too far away. One suggestion was to have kleenex in the house and the other is to have the garbage can washed out once in awhile. When we took garbage can to curb as suggested, it was hard to breathe. Overall nice place and nice location for seeing Omaha.

A little disappointed with the outside area - not as described . Weeds coming through porch, all pillows/ cushions for chairs were in a storage bin with water so could not be used. Upstairs bedroom was very warm and Wi-Fi was an issue. The inside was nice.

Cute, clean, and family-friendly

This was perfect for a weekend trip with two little kids. The house is cute and cozy and very clean. Candice was very helpful and communicative. The neighborhood was nice and easy to get to all the attractions and restaurants we wanted to visit. Highly recommend!

Our weekend getaway

We were very happy with this property and neighborhood. My grandkids loved the gameroom. It was their spot all weekend. Candice was very easy to reach when I had questions. We would definitely be willing to rent this house another time. :)

Great Aksarben Location!

Property was just 3 blocks from our son's house, and only a few more to Aksarben area...awesome! The rooms were a little small, but we made it work. Kitchen decently stocked; clean; plenty of towels and pillows. Lots of closet space. Low ceilings going up to the loft bedroom (no bathroom in loft) and to the basement, so caution if you are tall.

Great Cottage

Our stay at the Askarben Cottage was great! It was clean and welcoming. The neighborhood was quiet and a great location.We had an issue and the owner was very prompt in assisting us.We would stay here again.

Fabulous

We loved the home it was clean and well organized. The family room in the basement was great for watching movies and playing games. We played the air hockey and foosball. The only thing missing was a working fireplace and useable grill. I was looking forward to using these amenities as shown in the listing. I would absolutely stay again and look forward to using those next time. If I travel to Omaha I will check them first.

Quaint Cottage

This was a perfect place for a week stay. It had all of the amenities that we needed to cook dinner and truly live as if we were in our own home. Very close to eateries and UNO campus.

Great location.

I wanted to give it 5 stars but it wasn’t a good fit for our group. We were two couples over 70. The stairs are very steep to the upstairs with a king bed, and downstairs to the rec room and bathroom. The bathrooms are very small. It’s a charming little house and quite clean but needs a little more care outside. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal. For mid-town or UNO/Aksarben area, it’s a great location. Nice quiet neighborhood. For younger families it would be a good fit.

Just wonderful!!

This property was the best I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was beautiful and clean and the beds were SOOOOO comfortable. I have been burned by that before with terrible beds. Amenities there were on point and helpful to have. We felt like it was truly a home away from Home. My kids kept calling it their “other home” and slept so good and they don’t sleep well away from home. We could not have loved this house more. Thank you for making it such a great experience!!

Wonderful place for family getaway

We rang in the New Year with family and this cottage was the perfect spot to share time with family. There are 3 large rooms and a large basement with fun arcade games for everyone. The loaded coffee bar was an extra hit. Nice neighborhood with off street parking and centrally located to many Omaha sites and activities.

Cozy, really well-done home

Clean (spotless, really), welcoming, cozy place to stay. The finishings/workmanship on this home were done really well. I liked the welcome vibe of being able to utilize the basement 'less finished' side for the extra bathroom and washer/dryer. So many VRBOs have a lot of locked spaces, and this didn't feel that way, so it felt more like home... a clean home. The kids played with all the items in the basement and it was their happy place. They played games, worked a puzzle, and generally hung out around the round coffee table. We didn't do any cooking or baking and we did not utilize the back yard or deck, but here are the things I appreciated: - Cozy, comfortable beds with plenty of fresh pillows - Hot shower with good water pressure - Well-working dishwasher - Plenty of throw blankets around - THE DETAILS - nice quality toilet paper, bar soap available (!), plenty of cute mugs, coat tree, key pad that worked great, plenty of dishwasher pods, plenty of trash bags (!), TEA AND COFFEE STATION with fun choices, generous Ziploc bag station for us to take a few of our leftovers into the car/home in (!!). The icing on the cake for us this November was the Christmas tree that fit perfectly next to the kitchen table.

Great Little Getaway

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this charming cottage with our 3 yr old and 1 yr old. Our 3 yr old loved the air hockey table and football game console and we loved the location and ease of access. We walked to the Aksarban village area which offered all kinds of restaurants and outdoor spaces to relax. It was also very close to the Zoo and the Lauritzen Gardens. We had excellent communication with the property manager who was friendly and prompt. Would definitely stay again!!
