Paradise!

A lovely home away from home!! After a day of beautiful beaches or sightseeing the diversity of the island, a peaceful, comfy home awaits. Luna 39 had all the amenities you’d need for a experience we will definitely come back too!!🏝️🌞🌊

Live like a Local, peaceful, friendly neighbourhood.

We stayed almost six weeks at this comfortable two-bedroom, 2-bathroom home. A lovely shady back yard shared by the residents and two other rental units supplied a covered bbq area, variety of lounge chairs, large dining table under a covered patio and an air-temperature spa. Flowering trees, iguanas and birds made this space a relaxing retreat. Beach chairs and coolers are provided for your trips to the beach. Our little house also had a private covered front porch with ceiling fan which we used most mornings to enjoy our coffee before the sun made the space too warm around noon. The residents have an attached studio apartment to our house. There is street parking for your rental car, and the residents often have a car to rent at a reasonable price. The walk into Oranjestadt downtown was an easy 30 minutes. For quick groceries, there are three small stores within a 10-minute walk of the house. Upon arrival, we were happy to discover how spacious the house was. As a couple, we only used the master bedroom with very comfortable oversized queen bed. The ensuite bath included an on-demand hot water heater for the shower. This was the only location for hot water in the house, so we found ways to make it work for us. The second bedroom had two twin beds, and air conditioning. The second bathroom had a sink, toilet and large walk-in cool water shower. The big living room attached to the kitchen had air conditioning, a sofa bed, many chairs and TV. WiFi connectivity was very good. The HUGE kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook full meals. There was a gas stove and full-size refrigerator with a spacious freezer. We like hot water to wash dishes, so we used the tea kettle to boil water for the sink. Like all of Aruba, the drinking water from the tap was EXCELLENT. Overall, the house was tidy when we arrived, and the residents kept the property neat. Remember this is a home setting, not a hotel, so if you are looking for sparkle and glitz, you need to pay lots more and stay at a hotel. If you want a peaceful existence in a friendly neighbourhood, we recommend Luna 39!
