Check in staff wasn't really welcoming. The bed sheets didn't get changed before I checked in as I found long black hairs in the bed. It was a nice cozy room though and I had a great sleep. Close to the waterfront and nice restaurants with amazing food.

When booking on expedia it did not specify 1st floor which the property calls the basement. The room was a closet and the noise through the night was unbearable. We did not sleep and this stay here was an expensive waste of money. We will not stay here again.

When we arrived there is absolutely no parking. You had to park a block away and carry your bags. The room was the smallest I had ever seen. Our toilet did not work and so we removed to an even smaller room. Only one person could get around the bed at the same time. I would definitely not recommend this hotel

Unfortunatley I am not able to comment on the condition of the hotel property or the surrounding area as due to unexpected events had to cancel. I can comment on the non existance of customer service and lack of responsiveness. While unfortunate that our plans had to change, there was sufficient notice provided to the hotel to request cancellation, which was never responded to. With Expedia interjecting it was hoped to have resolve, Expedia experienced the same difficulties and received zero response to their inquiry. While an advanced request for cancellation was made, no acknowledgement or response was received, on that merit I do not recommend booking at this property.

I loved that we could store our bikes inside as we were doing the Simcoe County Loop Trail. It was convenient to waterfront and to restaurants and the downtown.

Comfortable hotel; bad parking

Very nice hotel but access to entrance is up 8 stairs and down a hall from parking lot behind hotel. Front entrance is on street and a longish walk from parking lot. Not many shops nearby. Great restaurant behind hotel!
