This property would have suited our requirements perfectly had we gained access at the beginning of our holiday rather than day 10. It is spacious both inside and out, beautiful outlook to the front, well equipped with matching bed linen and the two Minnie Mouses and games were well received by our grandchildren.
It was only on arrival at the property, we were made aware there were mould issues. The agent JC had found us alternative, but totally unsuitable accommodation, in a small 3 bed town house with a plunge pool, in an area we did not wish to be. He was informed immediately this was totally unsuitable as a replacement, he promised to keep in daily contact which he failed to do, and further procrastination meant he had not found us a suitable alternative, so we moved out after a week, finding ourselves an alternative before the original property surprisingly became available! Inadequate poor communication showed a lack of empathy towards us. JC thinks we should be satisfied with an inadequate partial refund. We strongly suggest to the host they find a more competent management company to act on their behalf, one that will be more attentive to their needs and the property they manage, and us, the customer. The blackmould which was such a huge problem and apparently needed walls dismantled and floors uplifted was difficult to spot...but if it was so bad then this shows a negligence by the agent and company on behalf of the host, and should have been addressed earlier.
