Construction was happening while i was staying here. Bit it was generally kept clean from dust. Free transportation to universal amd other attractions. Helpful staff. 10/10 would recommend.

A lot of the loungers in the water park were in poor condition. The store was supposed to open at 4:30pm and didn’t open til almost 5. You were not allowed to take the pool towels in the locker room and they stopped you if you tried so if you showered you then had to walk back into the water park to get a towel to dry off.

The rooms are similar to motel rooms. I couldn’t plug up the microwave because there is no outlets where the microwave is housed. The security latch on the door was half broken. The walls are very thin and you can hear the neighbors. You are made to pay a resort fee when checking in and it seems to not be going to nothing.

The water park is good fun. Seems a bit run down but looks good compared to the rooms. The room was just old, outdated, it was smelly and the whole room seemed damp. A couple towels and a few pillows felt a bit damp to the touch. There were also a few millipedes in the room. The biggest bummer was that there was no curtain on the window (there was a blind but it didn’t fully cover) and not only was light shining through but at one point a cold walking by could see in the window, despite me effort of trying to block the window out for privacy, very uncomfortable.

It is average motel experience. Staff is very nice, cooperative and friendly. There is easy access to good quality food right in front of the hotel. Within one mile walk there is nice market place and fun activities i.e., museum and food places.

The rate was reasonable, but the rooms are dated and would benefit from renovations. The AC unit was quite loud, there was no dehumidifier, and the window shades didn’t provide full privacy or blackout coverage. However, the property’s location is excellent — very convenient to Universal Parks, with a wonderful water park for children and several dining options within walking distance. Guests should be aware that sales representatives may approach them upon arrival.
