The stay was good but it did have some things that need some work. The place had a weird smell when we first got there almost like wet dog and there was a lot of hair in the kitchen sink and the dryer. It looked like dog hair but not sure. Also the washer and dryer smelled like mildew. They don’t have a high chair a listed in the description which really sucked because we needed one. We’ve stayed in the community but a different unit and this unit needs some TLC for sure. There are improvements that can be made for sure. Also the baby gate at the top of the stairs is broken so that should really be repaired.

Disney on your Door Step

This is my 7th trip to Florida. I would say this has been as good as any of the other trips.The property itself is well equiped and it suited our needs perfectly. Definitely come back to this location again on any return visit.

Great stay at Windsor Hills

We stayed in this townhouse for 17 nights with two children. The location of the townhouse is close to the big pool with slides. Check in went very smooth and the townhouse was clean and as seen on the pictures.The location of Windsor Hills to Disney World is 10 minutes that was great. The only feedback i have is that some of the furniture has seen its best days and should be replaced.10/10 would stay again.

Comfortable Stay Near clubhouse

This was a comfortable stay for our family. The townhouse had comfortable beds and couch, well stocked kitchen, with some spices and staples that are needed for cooking. Lot's of amenities and things for our kids to do. The house was plenty big with a bathroom for each bedroom. And a close walk to the clubhouse. The couches now have new covers on them, but the kitchen stools are still peeling.

Cozy and close

Very nice place to stay. Pool was so warm (be sure to request it to be heated). Short walk to the resort pool. Decorated cute. Furniture could be updated as the material was peeling off and sticking to anyone that sat on the chairs. Couches are in need of updating (not what you see in the pics). Seemed clean other than the hair tie I found by the bed when we got there. Would stay here again.

Very close to Disney

We have stayed in Windsor Hill before. It is very close to Disney and Walmart. The pool was heated and the kids enjoyed going in it.The master bathroom did have a musty smell and the plumbing was a bit off. If two people were showing at the same time the water pressure was low or would basically be dripping.

Momma did good!!

We had a great stay at this property!! My husband & kids were impressed that I found this location for us to stay at for our Disney Vacation!! We love Windsor Hills!!! We had everything we needed with plenty of room for a family of 4!! Comfortable & relaxing place!! Our only suggestion is to cut back the greenery around the driveway! It was difficult for us to get in & out of our van each day!!

Great location.

We always stay at Windsor Hill properties when we travel to Disney and Universal. The condo was spacious and clean. Short walking distance to the pool. Many restaurant and grocery locations nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location and wonderful resort

Second time staying at this resort and it did not disappoint. The condo is close to the community pool and you can walk. Plenty of space for our family and the small patio pool was used a lot with the hot weather. I was worried about the regulating of the air conditioning from reading other reviews. It was plenty cool for us and we came during the warmest time of the year (July), so don't worry. We went to Disney 3 days and it took us 15 minutes tops with traffic. Thank you so much for a great week in your condo and we would definitely book again!

Perfect home away from home!!

My family and I stayed here for a week during my daughter's volleyball tournament at the Orange County Convention Center. The traffic to and from was the only bad thing about our vacation. The house itself was wonderful and exactly as pictured and described. Our daughter enjoyed having her own room and bathroom downstairs, while my son loved having the bunk bed room also with its own bathroom, all to himself. The pool and waterslides at the clubhouse were enjoyed by us all as were the beverages served in the poolside grill. Then if we didn't get enough of the community pool, we were able to relax at our own private pool. Check in was easy (just a short 15-20 minute wait at the main gate to get checked in) and communication with the owner was quick, although once we were there, we didn't need to contact him for a single thing. I definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying here again if we are back in the area!

Beautiful property, unprofessional communication and Management from Owner/Management

Situation: We booked this property online for 7 nights for my family of 4. We have a 3 year old and a 19 month old infant and this was our first time traveling as a family of 4 across country from the West Coast to the East Coast. We got to property around 11pm after a 8 hour day of travel with kids. At check in gate, we were prevented from entering community because the Property Manager didn’t put our name in computer system which would give me access to property. This nightmare turned into an hour of us waiting in the humidity in the car for an hour with both kids crying because they were exhausted and my 3 year old had to potty. I was on the phone with the owner of the property to clear up the situation and rectify the problem. We were told to park on the side while this could be fixed. Action: The Owner said he’d give me a refund on the first night and told me to take my kids out to dinner eventhough it was past midnight. During my stay, I kept communication to owner and property manager on VRBO/emails as thorough as possible….have all saved emails but property manager/owner was inconsistent with communication. I also expressed to Property Manager in email owner told me that he’d give me the first day without issues and return funds for that day due to nightmare check in. Result: Nothing was done! Check out day, Manager rudely knocked on door saying he’d have to charge me for being past 10am, eventhough I had all emails. Beautiful home, terrible experience

Hidden Gem Windsor Hills Town Home

I booked this property for a last minute getaway with my wife to Disney since we could not use our DVC points last minute. I've stayed many times at Windsor Hills but never stayed in one of these smaller units. This was MUCH larger than I expected it to be. The included amenities were perfect and better than other homes I had been to. Thank you for including a Keurig coffee maker as well. The pool, although smaller than I was used to, was always the perfect temperature rather day or night time. Bedding was comfortable. The kids room is WONDERFULLY decorated and if I come back to Windsor hills with my two kiddos in tow, I will definitely stay here because they would love the bunk beds and Mickey themed room. It was a nice surprise to see it in person. It looked better than the photos. Also the check in and check out process was painless compared to other listings in this area. We had zero issues that required us to contact the property manager and found the place comfortable. One thing I will bring up to potential guests, the home generally stays at 76 degrees and will go down to 72 at most with the thermostat. This is to save on utilities while most folks are away from the unit. The fans help alot, provide some white noise during bedtime and I encourage you to use them. In short, would happily book here again, well done!

Very Nice Rental

Our overall impression on the property is it was perfect! It was very clean, and exactly what we needed. The little pool in the back as well as the water park pool were really nice. The community was also very nicely kept and gated. Checking in was a snap. U were given a card for parking. This was your key to gain access to the community each time. It was so easy. The only complaint we had was the rules on the use of the a/c. We like to keep our home at about 67 deg. So having to stick to 72 deg in the evenings and nite time was a bit much for us. And during the day the unit was maintained at 76 then 80 for a few hours. We can usually handle a little variation. But the morning sun comes in the front of the unit….the front two bedrooms were hot as can be before 8 am. And the thermostat is upstairs towards the back of the home where it was a bit cooler. So there was no real way to cool the front rooms off since u couldn’t adjust the thermostat. Trust me, I understand the reasons behind the rules on the a/c, but that needs to be listed on ur add so those that like a cooler environment will be able to be comfortable. Just like the heater on the pool. If u want the pool heated, u are charged a little more per day. I’m just glad it isn’t the middle of summer….might have been a huge issue then.
